He blinked his eyes and opened them halfway at first. The blood stain dripping from his forehead was slowly entering his eyes. He turned his face and used his shoulder to wipe it off. It was a bright sunny afternoon when they arrived at the woman's place. Detective Daniel could vividly remember the exact spot she always sat down.
