New Threats

Adrian paced near the central altar, his brows furrowed. "We can't let them get their hands on the artifact," he muttered, more to himself than anyone else.

The sacred temple stood solemnly against the night, its ancient stone walls glowing under the light of the full moon. Shadows danced across the courtyard, disturbed by the rustle of leaves and the faint whispers of the wind. Inside, the air was thick with tension, as if the very walls knew of the impending danger.

Leon, a tall and imposing figure, stepped forward. His eyes burned with a mix of determination and a deep-seated grudge. "I've faced them before. They're relentless. But this time, we have the advantage of knowing their target."

Adrian turned to Leon, searching his face for any sign of doubt. "And you? Why do you fight them?"

Leon's jaw tightened, memories of past battles flickering in his eyes. "They took everything from me. My family, my home. This is personal."
