3. Bonfire and berry tea

THE NEXT DAY

AT MICHAEL'S POV:

When I went downstairs I saw others eating breakfast. It was simple food, but it was good food. I needed to find those items for a bonfire, so I should head out soon.

"I can help you."I heard female voice.

As I turned around I saw a female with sun colour hair and even more beautiful green eyes. I never met a woman as beautiful as her before. I can not believe that someone as her is omega.

"I am Wanessa."She said.

"Michael."I said.

"I would like to help you since you are strong. I am a bit stronger than you."She said with a shy tone.

I like an idea of having teammate, so I don't mind it at all.

"Sure thing Wanny."I said with a grin and she started laughing. So cute. Did I just said 'cute'?

"Great. What is your task?"She asked.

"Bonefire."I said.

"So 5 of wood, stone, grass and rope. I guess you out of rope?"She asked.

"I never had in a first place."I said.

"Let's check a notice board. You ALWAYS can find something useful there."She said and I nodded as I kept eating.

It seems that staying here got me a teamate after all.

As soon as we went to the notice board I saw a needed task for it.

Collect vines or plant fibers to make more ropes. To complete the task you need 10 vines. Bring to the oc in the leather shop to trade.

Extra: bring 30 for 5 bronze coins.

It seems that we got a task needed for it.

"We need to reach a forest zone for it."She said.

"It sounds like a good thing."I said.

----

The air is thick with anticipation as I take my first step into the forest. Tall, trees loom overhead, their branches forming a natural shelter that filters the dappled sunlight, casting an intricate pattern of shadows on the forest floor. The earthy scent of moist leaves and moss fills my nostrils. It seems this place is as old as other spots. The play of light and shadow takes on a different meaning as I walk further. Whispers of wind rustle the leaves, and I can't help but imagine that the forest is speaking to me, telling me stories of ages long past, and secrets buried in the heart of the woods.

"This place looks pretty secretive and yet amazing."I said.

"I agree."Wanessa said and nodded.

As I venture deeper into the uncharted wilderness of the expansive forest, I find myself drawn further into the embrace of the ancient woods. Each step taken feels like a step into the unknown as if I am entering a whole new world. After a while, I stumbled upon a sun-kissed grassy clearing, where I found the grass and vines that I needed for my task.

"We found it."I said. "I also found some berries."I said.

"We did it."She said.

Both of us gathered needed vines for extra revard. I feel happy to see that went pretty well. Time to get ropes for campfire.

----

It took us a while to reach the town. The doorbell jingles cheerfully as I push open the heavy, leather-clad door and step into the small, but cozy leather shop. The scent of rich, earthy leather greets me instantly, enveloping my senses. It's a fragrance that speaks of craftsmanship and tradition, a scent that promises stories woven into every piece. I can tell every rank is shoping here. Leather bags of various shapes and sizes stand proudly on wooden shelves, beckoning me to explore their secrets. To the right, an array of leather jackets in different designs and shades are displayed on mannequins and racks. In the corner, a skilled craftsman hunches over a workbench, meticulously stitching leather pieces together. I come across leather wallets and accessories – each one seemingly more refined than the last. The craftsmanship is evident in the fine details, the carefully stitched seams, and the expertly burnished edges. I can tell it cost a nice money to have some of it.

"Good evening."I said.

"Good evening. I am selling leather and other goods."An oc said.

"I am here to sell my vines for money and ropes."I said.

"Of course."An oc said.

I handed an oc my vines and got ropes with 10 copper coins. It is not a lot, but it's better than nothing. It is time to go to the safe zone.

"Can I go with you?"Wanesa asked.

"Okay."I said and nodded.

I left with her to the safe zone with a small smile on my face.

--

As soon as I reached it I started working on bonfire. The air is cool, and the forest is alive with the sounds of chirping crickets and the whispering leaves in the gentle breeze. Sturdy branches, stripped of their leaves and twigs, are the first on my list. I select the driest ones, knowing they'll catch fire more easily. Next, I bring some stone and out some larger logs. I add logs into needed spots and stones around it. I add ropes to be able hold a pot there. Sparks fly as I strike the flint against the steel, and after a few tries, a small flame takes hold among the kindling.

"I got water."Wanessa said.

"Thanks."I said and added berries too.

Less than in five mins we got a two cups of berry tea.

Bonefire is complete. Congrulations.

Finally we are done. It's time to check out new task.

You'll need a garden to get some food. It's necesery to survive it.

For garden you'll need: 10 wood, a hoe and dirt fitted to grow plants.

As reward you be able grow vegetables.

It seems we got a new task, but now it's time to rest. I need to think about other things tomorrow.

"It seems we can rest for now, See you soon."Wanessa said and left.

I finished some things and went back to the guild house. Appearently hoe is an extra item so I need toolsmitch for it.
