As the sun came up on another day of our trip, we could feel that something was wrong. It felt like there was a lot of tension in the air, making our camp feel uneasy, like a thick fog had settled over it. Even though we tried to act like friends, there was a feeling of not trusting each other in our group that could break us apart.

I saw Jack and Sarah look at each other with concern. Their strong friendship was being tested by recent events. It was clear that something had changed between them, a break in their relationship that couldn't be fixed with words.

"What happened to us. " Sarah asked quietly, her voice barely heard over the crackling of the dying fire. "We used to trust each other completely, but now. "
