CHAPTER 2

Jack couldn't believe what he just realized, and it felt like a heavy weight on his shoulders. He had lots of thoughts, worries, and things he wished he hadn't done. How could he not see it? How could he believe his fantasies? As he walked out of Emily's apartment, Jack felt very sick. The world looked fuzzy as he had a hard time accepting the truth.

Sarah had left, and the person he had been sharing all his feelings with was just someone from his past who wasn't there. He walked around without a purpose, feeling guilty and not trusting anyone.

How could he have believed his mind could create such a clear picture that wasn't real? Was he so eager for an answer that he tricked himself on purpose?Jack was thinking and then he ended up in front of the café where he had last seen Sarah's ghost.

The memories suddenly came back, and each one hurt even more than the one before."I can't believe I was tricked," he said to himself, feeling bad about it.

Jack felt betrayed, and it bothered him a lot as he sat at a table. He had lowered his defenses and let himself be open to harm, only to be tricked by his thoughts.

But as he was feeling very sad, a voice interrupted his thoughts."Jack, can you hear me?"Emily was standing in front of Jack, looking worried, which surprised him.

He told Emily that there was no emotion in her voice. It is very unclear to me what steps to take next. My sanity seems to be vanishing.Emily took a seat beside him and put her hand on his shoulder to comfort him.

Jack, I have no idea what you're going through. You do, however, have friends. We shall be able to overcome this obstacle together. With tears in his eyes, Jack gave Emily a hug and expressed his gratitude for her assistance.

He realized that even though he felt bad, he couldn't let it control him. He needed to find a way to go on and make up for his faults. As he wiped absent his tears, Jack made a promise to himself.

He would learn from his past, grasp his blemishes, and endeavor to become distant better; a much better; a higher; a stronger; an improved" a stronger individual.

And even though the street ahead would be long and troublesome, he knew that he had the quality to confront it head-on.With Emily by his side, Jack at long last started to see a glint of trust amid the haziness.

And as they strolled absent from the café together, he knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, they would confront them together, one step at a time.

While strolling down the city streets, Jack and Emily felt a sense of discomfort lingering in their conversation. Jack couldn't get rid of the suspicion that Emily was keeping something from him, something lurking beneath the facade of their innocent friendship.

Emily, is there something you're keeping from me? Jack asked, his voice shaking with uncertainty. Emily faltered, her eyes dashing absent.

"I... I do not know what you cruel, Jack. I've told you everything I know."But Jack may see through her exterior.

There was a glimmer of blame in her eyes, a flash of something covered up beneath the surface."Emily, if you don't mind," Jack argued, his voice developing frantic. "I got to know the truth.

What aren't you telling me?"Emily murmured, her shoulders drooping in overcome. "Affirm, fine. There's something I ought to tell you, but you've got to guarantee not to crack out."Jack's heartbeat was in his chest as he held up for Emily to talk.

What seemed she conceivably got to tell him that would make him crack out?Taking a profound breath, Emily at long last talked. "Jack, I... I've been having unusual dreams of late. Dreams around Sarah."Jack's blood ran cold as Emily's words sank in.

Dreams around Sarah? But that was incomprehensible. Sarah was dead."What do you cruel, dreams approximately Sarah?" Jack inquired, his voice scarcely over a whisper.

Emily delayed, her look settled on the ground. "I know it sounds insane, but... but I've been seeing her. Talking to her. And she's been telling me things, things that as it were you and Sarah would know."Jack's intellect hustled with questions, questions, and fears.

Was it conceivable that Sarah's phantom was coming out to them from past the grave? Or was there something similar at play? "We need to discover what's going on," Jack said, his voice firm with assurance.

"We can't disregard this any longer." Together, Jack and Emily dove more profound into the riddle of Sarah's spooky appearances, scouring ancient photos, letters, and mementos for clues.

But the more they revealed, the more the truth evaded them.Days turned into weeks, and still, they were no closer to unraveling the secret of Sarah's spooky nearness.

It was the engraving on the back, composed in Sarah's handwriting: "Forever and continuously, my cherish. -Sarah."As Jack perused the words, a chill ran down his spine. Until the end of time and continuously.

It was the same expression Sarah's phantom had utilized when she said farewell. All of a sudden, everything clicked into put.

The dreams, the appearances, the unexplained nearness of Sarah's phantom. It all made sense presently. But some time recently Jack may voice his contemplations, Emily's expression changed, her eyes broadening in stun."Jack, see!" she shouted, pointing to the photo.
