CHAPTER 36

As they went further into the oasis, Jack felt like someone was watching them. He looked around anxiously, feeling very alert as they walked through the maze of paths in the thick plants.

All of a sudden, they came out into an open space and were surprised by what they saw. In front of them was a beautiful building with tall towers that looked like the fingers of a giant trying to touch the sky.

"What is this place? " Rayan wondered out loud.

The person turned to look at them, but it was hard to tell what they were thinking because their face was hidden in the shadows.

"This is our safe place," they answered. "A place where you can be protected from people who want to hurt you. "

Jack and his friends felt amazed as they followed the person into the center of the special place. They had lots of questions in their minds about where they were.
