CHAPTER 43

Jack agreed and started thinking of plans and strategies right away. They lost the fight, but the war wasn't finished yet. He promised that they would come back and win this time.

When they got back to their village, Jack quickly organized a meeting with the older people of the village. They had to make a plan fast if they wanted to save their friends from their enemies.

"Jack said we have to get information," he said firmly to the older people gathered there. We must learn everything about our enemies—what they are good at, what they are not good at, and what they are planning to do. We can only hope to beat them if we do that.

The older people agreed by nodding and looked serious and determined. They knew they were up against a tough opponent, but they also knew they had something their enemies didn't have: the power and togetherness of their community.
