Several times Bruce averted his eyes from looking at Shawn directly. Right now he was worried about the accusations reported by him. What if it turned out that Bruce couldn't prove what he reported? Of course, this would be a big problem because Shawn seemed to be serious with his threats.

Bruce didn't want to get into a complicated matter, especially since he would lose face if he couldn't prove it. He thought, he needed to resolve this as soon as possible.

He took a breath and tried to look elegant even though the cold sweat on his temples couldn't cover his worry. "Never mind, this is all a waste of my time."

Everyone glanced at him. Shawn coldly looked at the man.

Bruce needed to make an excuse since all the attention was now on him. "It's very inconvenient to report this to the police. You have to take care of this, you have to take care of that, it's all so long-winded. I'm a busy person. I need to leave as soon as possible."
