Shawn stood there. His eyes were sharp as he looked at Jeremy Kane who was lifting the baseball bat. Jeremy glared at the man.

Shawn stepped inside and looked at the few people standing around looking down on him because they were bigger than he was.

Jeremy pressed his mouth shut. "Look at that stupid face. Who are you?"

Shawn looked the man up and down. He was Jeremy Kane, the father of Hugh Kane. One of the two men Shawn had broken his leg with. However, Shawn had no desire to answer the man's questions. His hand holding the metal baseball bat and the battered faces of his adoptive parents gave away a lot of information that this was the man who had tortured Lisa and John.

Lisa shouted in a trembling voice. "Shawn, you've come. What have you done to this man's son? Look at what happened, you got us involved with your problem and even we had to get beat up like this."
