Rachel narrowed her eyes. She knew that Shawn's relationship with Ryan was not good. Shawn once told her that Ryan and his foster family had a habit of giving Shawn a hard time. Ryan even had a hand in the bullying Shawn received when he was in school.

Rachel looked at Ryan coldly. “Why does he owe you money? I heard you were the one who spent Shawn's money.”

Ryan glared. He snapped his mouth shut in annoyance at the words coming out of Rachel's mouth. “Spend you say? That guy wasn't even a person back then. If my mom and dad hadn't taken care of him, he would have been a useless person rotting on the streets forever.”
