Shawn stared with a slight squint at the manager. Because what he said was not something Shawn could fully believe, especially since he had a chance to defend the drunk doctor.

Shawn asked, "If you start deceiving me again, I--"

"No, sir. I'll make sure of that," the hotel manager said before Shawn could finish his sentence.

Hector, Gilda, and Clark were surprised to hear that. They didn't know why the hotel manager didn't defend Hector. They looked at each other and frowned.

Shawn didn't expect this to end so soon. He had intended to call Rachel and ask for a recommendation for a lawyer to resolve this matter. However, it didn't seem necessary anymore.

Shawn grinned, pleased with the hotel manager's agreement. Then Shawn said, "Okay. I like it. I'll accept that if you do well. Because this is no joke to me."

The manager sensed that this Shawn was different. He had such a pressing aura about him that the hospital manager felt challenging Shawn was a big mistake.

However, Hector didn't
