Sign the Divorce

Chapter Two

Matthew opened his eyes to Erica straddling him, fast asleep. How beautiful He smiled, delighted at the scene. Slowly her eyes tore apart, anger rose in them then hand flew up to hit him but Matthew caught it mid-air. 

"Good morning princess."

A smile quickly crept to her lips and she relaxed, he let go of her, pulling her to the side he yawned. "Will you be working late tonight?" Erica suddenly asked, causing him to pause and face her.

"Why? Don't you want me to?"

She turned away, "I don't want to stay up waiting like last night."

"Last night was my fault, I'm sorry don't be angry with me okay." He reached for her arm but she pushed him away. "Thank you for the necklace." She said shy. 

Matthew was unable to contain his happiness, he pulled her in for a hug and she did not fight back, instead she placed her head on his shoulder. "I love you Erica." He whispered but she remained quiet.

"Good news sir." Matthew's secretary Paul faced him with a smile as he strolled into the office. "Zane Gonzalez has finally agreed to invest in our company and can't wait to meet you." He dropped the news excitedly. 

"Yes!" Matthew blew his fist into the air, in order to be free from Diana's hold he sought funds from different places but was faced with rejection every time. Zane Gonzalez was his last option, the others were out of his reach and would never stop to take a look at someone like him. His reputation was damaged beyond saving by Diana that no one in the business world wanted to be seen with him.

"Set up a meeting immediately!" He commanded.

"Yes sir!"

The door fell open with a loud kick and Matthew's head snapped up, he saw Zane walk in with two hefty men trailing behind him. "It's a pleasure to finally meet you." He stood up and stretched forth his hand for a hand shake. 

Ignoring him Zane walked over to the head table, "step aside." He spoke in a harsh tone and Matthew quickly understood the message, he stepped away for Zane to take a seat which he did.

Turning to the second chair in the room he was about to settle down when Zane's bodyguard pulled the seat back from behind causing Matthew to fall flat on his butt.

Zane burst out laughing, "looks perfect, don't stand up. That is your position and this is mine, do you understand?" Matthew replied with a slight nod already used to the humiliation, he would do anything to get Zane to invest in his company so that he could be free from Diana.

"Turns out you are really a coward just like the rumours described, even worse. Tell me, how can a man live with no shame?" He asked.

"If I tell you the secret will you be investing in my company?" Matthew raised the question causing Zane to fall back to his seat laughing like crazy. 

"And of what use would such a useless secret be to me?"

"You can teach your sons to not be like me."

"I have never seen a man so shameless." Zane confessed, "I like you this way and I will only invest in your company on one condition."

"Which is?"

"That you divorce Erica Griselda, I have a little crush on her you see and you're getting in my way."

Matthew immediately rose to his feet angered by those words, "I don't need your investment any more, get out." He spat. 

Zane chuckled in a low dangerous tone, in the blink of an eye Matthew was being held down by both of his bodyguards. "Kneel." The man commanded and he had no choice but to obey. 

"Let go of me." He fought to no avail. 

"How can a useless man like you be married to such a goddess, don't you think it's unfair?" Zane questioned.

"Say whatever you like but I will not be divorcing her." Matthew refused to bend to his will, that was a line he would never ever cross in this life.

Rising from his feet Zane strolled over to where he was being held down, "you're a bold one, I thought you were a coward." He sent his fist knocking into Matthew's nose and it snapped. 

Matthew fell to the floor but before he could get up Zane pounced on him, rushing him several blows without leaving a room to breathe. Minutes passed and Matthew was lying on the floor helpless. Satisfied, he stood up.

"I'm giving you until tomorrow to sign those papers, if you make me return here. I swear to God, you will not like the outcome." He spun around and left the room with his bodyguards. 

Tears gathered at the corner of Matthew's eyes as he slowly pulled himself off the ground aching all over, he was covered in dirt and bruises. It's okay, she's worth it, he assured himself. After getting his wounds treated in the hospital, he headed home for some rest. 

"Why are you back so early?" A maid named Linda eyed as he walked through the gates. 

"And how is that any of your business?" Matthew asked, irritated, he was having a bad day already. 

"I'm saying this for your own good, but don't worry, go ahead." She stepped aside and he did not hesitate to walk past her. 

Diana was nowhere to be seen and Matthew could not be more thankful that was until he heard something funny which forced him to come to a stop several steps away from his room. It sounded like moans but Matthew chose not to believe it until he saw with his own eyes. 

Trailing forward, he pushed the door open, a shocking wave explored its way through his system threatening to explode as he saw his wife Erica, naked positioned on top of a man whose face was covered from him.

"Erica?" His voice broke in betrayal.

She turned to him revealing the man's face, and unlike Erica who was too horror stricken to say a word, Zane was rather pleased to see him. Grabbing a fist full of her ass he spanked hard causing her to flinch and moan out in pleasure.

"Welcome home sucker."
