Gale opened the car door and went in.

"Are you injured?"

She shook her head.

Shawn snorted coldly and said, "You are quite clever. You know how to protect yourself."

"I was close to getting injured," Gale said, subconsciously wanting to touch her lower abdomen.

When she thought that Shawn was beside her, her movements stopped abruptly.

"This is the end of the matter. Don't think about going to trouble Susan," he warned.
