Into The Space dimensional crack

“Wow,” Jackson clamored as they strode inside the place, his eyes peeking around in awe.“snap out of it, we need to move now? Azraf jerked his hand and pulled him forward.“hay, cool down dude, let me finish checking out this place.” Jackson sounded a little annoyed.

“No way am going to let you waste any more time doing that.” Azraf retorted with a stern voice. This guy had already wasted enough time combing his hair at Azraf’s house, causing them to arrive here late. Now he’s thinking of wasting more time? When is he going to acknowledge how serious this is for both of them?.”

They both continued hastily into the depth of the lunching station until they reached a row of spaceships that were assigned to earth’s defenders. Azraf and Jackson had to reluctantly split up , as they were posted in different spaceships.

Coming into the spaceship, Azraf saw forty-eight recruits who were all patiently seated on the seats assigned to them with roughly all sorts of weapons, which they brought here. Guns, knives, swords, axes, and others. Azraf smiled, remembering that he also came here prepared with his weapon. They were about to go to a dangerous place, after all.

“so you’re the recruit that kept me waiting?” a rough-looking middle-aged man who was outfitted in a navy-colored space suit stormed towards him the moment that Azraf boarded the ship and announced with a displeased expression.

“Yeah, sorry about that,” Azraf reasons, a bit apologetic. Although it was Jackson’s fault, he couldn’t use that as an excuse here moreover after taking a short time to study the man’s uniform, Azraf identified the man as the captain of this fleet, he had to give a little justification in other to soot the guys bitterness so that everything will go smoothly.

The attention of everyone on the ship was now drowned to Azraf. Some of them gazed at the commotion with smirks on their faces as they enjoyed the show while some had a look of pity.“an apology? Do you think an apology is going to solve my frustration? Young man, you better….

The man was going to pester him further when a stiff mechanical voice behind Azraf cut him off….

“Am here for the expedition, sir?”

Azraf vested  around to see a guy entirely enclosed in a lustrous black suit and a black glass helmet that coated his whole head, which made it impossible to see his face.

“young man, how dare you interrupt this captain? Are you conscious that I can….” The man was at it again when he was caught off by an action from the guy in the black suit.

Azraf and the others vaguely saw a golden medal held by the guy in black which he displayed to the man.“mmh,” with a snort the middle-aged man turned his back as he began to trudge forward.

He felt annoyed over the fact that he was interrupted two times in front of the recruits but due to the special identity of the guy which he just discovered after seeing the medal, he feared to do anything to the party however, in other to maintain his face, he had to make it look better for him and there came his snort.

As the man walked away, the guy in black came to stand beside azraf ignoring the weird gazes of azraf himself and the other recruits.

“since you have all assembled I guess I will tell you what you all need to know, ladies and gentlemen, I am the commander of this ship, I go by the name Alex Oscar. You are all In my ship so you should follow my rules, any transgression and you shall be ejected back to where you came from.”

“you are to sit patiently until we arrive in curia within one hour and don’t make any noise because I hate noise do you understand?” Alex snapped like a high school teacher, cautioning his students about the consequences of disturbing him in class.“yes sir.” The crowd of men and women all replied in unison.

“Great” while he resolved, his eyes which were very sharp and stern studied the facial expressions of everyone present.”

“You’ve all signed up for a very dangerous job in other to protect your planet, some of you might be here for other reasons other than that but It’s all the same, in the end, heroes like you are admirable don’t you think?.”…… no one answered.

“ But let me warn you for the last time before we set out, in this mission, you all have a great chance of losing your lives. When you leave this spaceship, you will find yourself in a danger zone and you all will have to depend on yourselves to survive and get to the safe zone" “ if there’s anyone who has doubts about his safety, it’s not too late to back down.”

After his sentence, Alex peered around to see if there was any deserter but to his perplexity, not a single person wavered or voiced anything about abandoning the mission.

“This is brilliant, it appears that you are all prepared for this? you’ve now earned my respect. I guess this is to be expected. After all, the governments will not allow unprepared recruits to come this far, I guess this is it.” Alex noted a wide smile that crept on his face.

The group was caught a little unprepared upon seeing the undeniable and stern face of the captain suddenly brightening. After all, from the moment they all arrived here, the only expression he’s shown was grimness and ferociousness. “start the ship!.

“All the recruits sat quietly on their seats as they were instructed and experienced the boring one-hour journey.”

Approximately one hour later, Alex’s voice reached the ears of the recruits. “activate your seat fields, we are approaching the dimensional crack, there’s going to be a violent space turbulence, I repeat there’s going to be a violent space turbulence, if you get hurled around, don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Everyone immediately activated their seat fields. After being covered by a membrane of energy, Azraf studied around and saw that the spaceship started to vibrate violently.

Soon a wave of dizziness overtook him as his vision became blurry for an uncertain amount of time before everything became normal.

“Alright dudes, off you go, once again, you are all alone if you get there, don’t expect to see other recruits groups close to you because every fleet is now vastly far away from each other due to a phenomenon they called special displacement. you are expected to depend on each other to find a safe base.

I only have three minutes before the fuel runs out thanks to the strange property of this damn world so I have to go now. Good luck.”

Azraf and the others vaguely heard the voice before their vision went white. One minute later, Azraf and the fifty other recruits crashed into the hard ground after being teleported out of the space ship which rapidly drifted away.

.        As the fleet vanished from their sights, the recruits eventually examine the environment that they were in. Around them pictures a see of evergreen trees that all stretched to the sky and towered above them. their green leafs obstructed the rays of sunlight making their surroundings gloomy.

The wind blew and made the green leaves sway gently, chirping and roaring noise from unidentified birds and animals in a far distance reached into the ears of the party convincing them further what environment they now stood in. The inhabited wild.

.        various expressions plastered on everyone’s face as they peered into their surrounding carefully and suspiciously. A handful of them appeared calm, they seemed to have expected this reality, some had a look of excitement and while some struggled to maintain their nervousness and regain their calm.

Azraf however, had an indifferent look as he squinted around but no one knew how enthusiastic he felt in his heart, appearing in a place like this that will soon become his hunting ground.

He looked beside him to see the masked guy standing there with an unreadable expression due to his hidden face.

“let’s move to the base, we don’t have much time.” Someone said hastily as he strode towards a certain direction in haste. This direction was not randomly picked however, it is the direction that they could all mentally feel with their chips or system even though they aren’t able to use their systems yet. Everything was explained to them before they embarked on this journey so no one found it strange when they felt a connection from that direction.

Due to his fast action, the majority of the inexperienced recruits who do not know how this world works were also drowned to copy his action.

Seeing their foolish actions, azraf and the few others who were knowledgeable about the world refused to leave and shook their heads.

These Naïve recruits aim to reach the base before any of the dangerous creatures in the wild catch any wind of them. sadly, they are unaware that it is impossible as the forest is the domain of these creatures and their rash movements will only serve to alarm them. The truth of the matter is that they aren’t leaving this forest without a fight.

“Why aren’t you moving?” the black-coated guy asked azraf after seeing the situation. He had also wanted to join those who were in haste but he gave up at the last minute after seeing azraf’s action and expression when he looked at the dashing recruits.

“what should I call you? I don’t like addressing unidentified peoples.” Azraf replied calmly with a question of his own. “am zero coins, in short, call me zero.”

“zero Coins?” Azraf raised his brows and gazed intently at the guy feeling that he was being made fun of and also stunned by the name. “ What sort of name is that, did your parents live their whole lives without a dain?.”  “that’s not very polite mister smith.” Zero expressed sarcastically.

“haa, how do you know who I am, did you research on me?.” Azraf asked looking suspicious, as it appears, he hasn’t fully gotten over the thing with the weird scientist, eddy Matthew.

Zero’s body vibrated at this question before he awkwardly shrugged and said. “don’t be too sensitive mister smith, as the sole survivor of the virtual game disaster, wouldn’t it be rather surprising if you are not renowned.”

Azraf took notice of his strange action which strangely resembled a shy girl who refuse to admit something embarrassing and decided to ignore all the pointless things while concentrating on the real business.

“ zero right, let me tell you what will happen, those idiots are about to get us all in rubble as we will soon be under…”

“rumble!!.”

Azraf was cut off by a loud sound that reverberated ahead of them where all the naïve recruits were running to. Both he and zero turned their attention ahead.Soon miserable cries sent panic to everyone and the noise of gunshot began to sound in that area.

“Ahhhh, we are under attack, everyone let’s get ready to fight back.” A bulky guy suddenly blurted out, reminding everyone what needs to be done.“ha, he took the words right out of my mouth,”

Azraf said helplessly as he drew out a long sword that was coated in its sheath behind him. After waiting for such a long time, it’s finally time to get things cracking.

Zero bought out two handguns immediately and pears ahead vigilantly. Before you know it, weapons were drowned on all sides. the group proceeded cautiously.
