Dexter's uncle was fidgeting as soon as the call connected. The family members couldn't believe this either. They couldn't have imagined in their wildest dreams that the mythical General Trent would answer their call.

They all knew what the deceased patriach of the family used to go through before he would be lucky to get an audience with the General.

The uncle lost his voice after those few words that he had said. He was still caught in the shock of the moment.

As soon as he got a grip of himself again, he quickly put the call on speaker so that the rest of the family could hear.

"Condolence on the death of your father, boy." The hoarse and deep voice of the General filled the air.

Everyone in the hall could feel the weight of the General's words on their shoulders.

"I wish it could have gone any differently." The General continued. "But you realise, every debt has to be paid. Even the dead will agree."
