Dirga smiled faintly. "Don't you want Mandy to worry about you?"

Sean nodded his head. “Mandy has been really nice to me. I didn't get in trouble with him. I don't want him to worry about me."

Dirk nodded his head. "You can tell me anything. I didn't tell Mandy." He felt a little grateful Sean thought of him as a stranger. Dirga rubbed the remaining ice cream on Sean's lips. Sean's heart was beating really fast. He gets nervous.

"Dirga, can I ask you something?"

"What?" Dirk raised an eyebrow waiting for an answer.

“Were you really like this to me from the start? I mean, don't you feel troubled around me considering all my background."

He took a breath then exhaled. "I once insulted you. Before. Before Agler before I knew you. One of the things I regret. If only I knew what you look like then I would not utter such words. Agler hit me but I think I deserved a lot more than that.”
