"Jake?!" Amanda asked out of surprise.

"Yes," he replied absentmindedly.

"What is going on here? Why is this man here to pick you up? And don't lie to me that you booked a ride because you and I both know that Uber drivers don't come to pick up their clients in such a fashionable car. And if you did, why would you? Dad got us a beautiful car, you could have just used that!" She exclaimed.

"Okay, first of all. Your dad got that car for you, so let's stop acting coy about it all. I know what that car stands for. And secondly, no I didn't order an Uber. The client that I want to help with her shopping needs sent the car to pick me up."

"Jake, do you really not see anything wrong with your client who, if I may add, is a woman, sending you a car to pick you up? Does she think that you are handicapped or something? Why couldn't she let you go meet her by yourself?"
