Moving Out

Michael watched as his friend buried himself in work, he knew the young man was hurting but just trying to cover it up. He didn't say anything about it, he had learnt the hard way to never try to help Jake sort out his feelings. He was a grown man who hated being told what to do especially how to feel. As Michael kept helping him wrap the boxes, he couldn't help but think about Jake's wife. She was so beautiful but also so ugly. Michael wondered if she didn't know about her bad ways. Of course, she did. No one would be that cruel to someone and not realize that they have done something wrong. The woman just didn't want to apologize and for some reason, she believed that Jake would take her back with open arms.

If he was Jake, he would be angry as well and he would have continued to shut her off and keep it that way. Her betrayal had cut deep and there was no salvation for someone like that. Jake had no reason to be good to her but he also knew his friend, it wouldn't take long before
