Michael watched as his friend buried himself in work, he knew the young man was hurting but just trying to cover it up. He didn't say anything about it, he had learnt the hard way to never try to help Jake sort out his feelings. He was a grown man who hated being told what to do especially how to feel. As Michael kept helping him wrap the boxes, he couldn't help but think about Jake's wife. She was so beautiful but also so ugly. Michael wondered if she didn't know about her bad ways.
