Revelations

"Mom, what happened?" Amanda said as she found the courage and got up from the bed.

"I think you'll need to speak to him first." Amanda couldn't take her eyes off her mother, the woman was, for some reasons, a kind and caring mother that Amanda had not known her to be.

"Okay. Let's go then." Getting up from her bed, Amanda slipped into her flip-flops.

"How about we wait till after breakfast," Mrs Cash said as she grabbed Amanda's hand and pulled her back to the bed. Amanda narrowed her eyes as she stared at the woman. Something was wrong, she could feel it in the air and her mother was awfully decent about it, proving to her that she had something up her sleeves. It was difficult to trust the devil when you are one of his demons.

"Okay. Let me go freshen up then," she said and stood up from the bed and walked into the bathroom, leaving her mother all alone in her room with the freedom to do anything she pleased and all the woman did was stand up and leave.
