The Bag

"Amanda, what do you want?" Jake wasn't in a happy mood. For once, he was feeling good and hanging out with someone that actually cared about him. He didn't have to pretend around her and he certainly didn't have to be hatching plans to get rid of her one day and make me fall in love with it the next. It was a roller coaster with Amanda and as much as he loved it, it was getting to be very exhausting.

"I'm waiting outside our apartment for you. I want to take you somewhere. Come quick." The woman didn't wait for him to pick. Jake was starting to see a pattern. All she did was bark orders at him and expect him to follow blindly. She didn't have a maid at their house and she was taking him as her own personal maid. Jake ignored the anger boiling inside of him and got up.

"I gotta go. Wife needs me."

"Okay. Well, we should do this again sometime, okay? I really had fun." Sasha smiled, hiding her frustration at always being the second person in his life.
