The Cash were not in a good mood cause if they were they would have noticed a familiar face walking towards them. But Mrs Cash was too busy hating on her husband for taking Jake's side and Mr Cash was too busy pondering why his wife was so difficult to handle. Both had their problems but none of them was decent enough to not allow outsiders to know that they had a problem. Being civil was a far-fetched term for them.

They didn’t even maintain a slow pace and so couldn’t catch a glimpse of the people that would turn things around for them. They walk into their car and maintain a reasonable distance from each other. Mrs Cash has always known that her husband was out to get her, she knew that the man didn’t respect her but she had imagined that he would sympathize with his daughter and allow her to teach that young man a lesson instead of sweeping everything under a rug.
