Chapter 2. Axell Waned

Emily moved closer to Axell and followed the instructions of her friends, who asked her to kiss Axell's hand.

"Now take turns; the husband kisses his wife's forehead," said one of the invited guests.

Emily's eyes seemed to glaze over; she looked very disgusted when Axell kissed her forehead.

Meanwhile, Axell's feelings were mixed together. It turned out that he was just a cover for Emily, who was pregnant.

"Who actually got her pregnant?" asked Axell in his heart. Axell did not even focus on today's event; his mind was filled with Emily's pregnancy, which was already quite large.

With great reluctance, Axell and Emily followed the procession of the very simple event. The two of them did not even greet each other.

Axell and Emily were currently hanging out with Emily's friends after the marriage ceremony was over. Several men and women looked very familiar with Emily.

However, there was one thing that made Axell shake his head. Emily's female friends wore dresses that were no less luxurious than Emily, the bride. And the most striking thing was that their dresses were all very sexy—thighs and breasts like no other.

"It turns out Emily was smart to choose a husband; he's handsome," said Nisa, who was wearing a long red dress with a slit just an inch away from her intimate area.

"He's so handsome!" Emily scowled.

"Seriously, it's just that he lacks maintenance. Where did you find him?" asked another.

"Can you not talk about him? If you guys like him, just take it. I share for free," replied Emily.

"Don't be angry if I really invite him to sleep," Febi said, looking at Axell with a hungry look.

Axell, who heard all the conversations of several people, became a little familiar with Emily's life. And it was no surprise that Emily was pregnant without knowing who had impregnated her.

"Her life is so free," muttered Axell, who was alone because he was ignored by Emily.

And suddenly, a man from one of Emily's friends came over.

"Hello, Axell. I'm Raka," Raka said familiarly, sitting next to Axell.

"Be careful; Emily is fierce and dominant. She won't let you settle first," Raka whispered to Axell, who was greeted with laughter from the others.

"You're the weak one!" replied Emily, who apparently heard what Raka said to Axell.

"That's good!"

Axell was just being bullied and insulted by Emily and her friends. There was nothing he could do but smile.

However, Axell's head had already arranged what steps would be taken in the future.

"We'll see Emily, who will bend the knee," Axell thought with a smile.

Feeling that there was no point in Axell joining them, Axell finally chose to return to the room that had been prepared for him and Emily.

Kriet!

Axell opened the door to the room, immediately seeing the bridal chamber that had been prepared. Even the bed was scattered with flower petals, which made Axell grin.

"What is all this for? This marriage is just to cover up the disgrace; this is just a marriage on paper, not a real marriage," Axell said quietly while throwing his butt on the soft mattress.

Axell examined every corner of the room; the marriage he dreamed of was now destroyed.

Axell sat contemplating his sad life journey.

He was dumped by his parents in front of a simple home run by a childless couple.

Oweek! Owek!

That night, the sound of a baby crying woke up Mr. Tadi and Mrs. Ania, who were resting. And what was their surprise when they opened the door to find a cardboard box containing a baby crying from thirst?

Full of fear, Mrs. Ania tried to make milk, which happened to be in the box of milk and a pacifier bottle. That night, Mr. Tadi immediately reported the discovery to the local neighborhood association.

When the box was opened, there was a letter inside, containing only the baby's name and date of birth.

'Axell Waned.'

There was also a gold bracelet and some clothes.

It seemed like Axell's mother was very determined and prepared to leave her baby.

After a week of no clarity about the baby's parents, it was finally decided that Mr. Tadi and Mrs. Ania would take care of Axell.

Axell snapped out of his reverie. "I don't know what Mr. Mattew meant when he asked about my name."

Yes earlier, Mr. Mattew had asked about Axell's family and where he got the name Waned. Axell certainly couldn't answer that.

And it was because of that name that Mattew had chosen him to be his son-in-law. Because Axell's name reminded Mattew of a fellow businessman who had disappeared like the earth, namely Fredd Waned,

"Unfortunately, mom and dad don't know why I was given that name. I don't know where you are, my real parents; why did you give me this name? Do you hope we will meet again when we grow up?" Axell asked again.

Lost in reverie, Axell didn't realize that Emily had entered their room.

"Don't you touch my stuff in this room! You don't have the right to touch!" Emily spoke intimidatingly with piercing eyes.

"This room is my room! No one else can disturb it!"

Even with her pregnancy, Emily's breathing seemed to fluctuate rapidly.

Axell looked at Emily, who was gyrating at the door. There was a hateful look on Emily's face as she stared at Axell.

"Come in first. I won't touch anything but you," Axell replied casually.

"Don't dream!" shouted Emily, who immediately entered the room and headed towards the dressing table. Maybe she would take off her dress and makeup.

"Hmmm." Axell only replied with dejection.

"Don't always yell; pity your body that seems to be getting overwhelmed," Axell continued.

"None of your business!"

Axell smiled at Emily, who looked very fierce and ferocious. However, in his heart, Axell was sure that someone like Emily would melt very easily.

"I'm sure you'll fall into my arms soon, Emily! Whether it's love or not, you'll be very dependent on me!" Axell said it in his heart while glancing at Emily.

Axell felt tired; he currently needed to rest for a while. Leaving the flowers scattered, Axell laid his body down on the soft mattress. In fact, it was the first time he felt a very soft mattress.

However, Axell's body had not yet fully laid down, and suddenly Emily's voice came back shrill.

"You can't sleep there! I don't want my mattress to get dirty because of you! I'm disgusted!" shouted Emily angrily, with a disgusted expression.

"Where do I sleep then?" asked Axell, confused, and he reflexively stood up immediately.
