Chapter 12: A servant comes to call

Derek soon becomes lost in thought as a servant is sent to call him. A tap on the shoulder wakes him back to consciousness after many attempts to draw his attention. He shrieks in fear seeing someone stand beside him. His mind was taken to his former house where he lived with Tahlia and her mom. He thought it was either of them.

"What do you want?" He asks boldly, remembering that he is a billionaire and no one who knows him of recent would try to bully him because he or she should know what he is worth.

"Sir, your grandfather is in the living room and is waiting to have a meeting with you. It would be short though, that's what he asked me to tell you.

"Oh maybe he has seen the message I sent him and doesn't want to talk over the phone?" He says to himself, raising his head up, he looks at the servant.

"What's your name?" It's quite unusual for a boss to ask the name of a servant or maid. Derek just feels like knowing the name of this young man standing before him.
