Derek arrives at his estate, soon after he told his family's asset manager. It didn't take up to twenty minutes.
Some of his family's staff had forgotten him because he was now grown, muscular and very charming although had been in a poor condition for years.
His grandfather who is the most excited person to welcome him introduces him to everyone who had forgotten him.
"I thought you were not going to come back?" He asks and Derek widens his eyes in amazement.
"Why wouldn't I come back, sir?" He always addresses his granddad by the fond version of sir.
"I'm glad you returned, some don't after meeting with the freedom of having to live by themselves." This is why he is the most excited person in the house.
It's the truth that some heirs and heiresses who were supposed to inherit their family's fortunes like these abscond, never returning back to home again especially those from disciplined families.
These families have rules guiding them and those who are to inherit the family's assets must adhere strictly to these rules as a means of inculcating discipline in them which they would use in handling their prospective position.
These young persons prefer to live a free life to being wealthy, it is becoming a random occurrence and the second-in-line gets to take everything without much stress.
They sit down to a family meal before doing the necessary. During this period, Derek, Dawson and Aurelius become inseparable as they plan for a successful handover.
From here, Derek is taken by Aurelius to Deonz company. Being that he had his motorcycle with him and knowing who is, Aurelius accompanies him but drops a short distance to the Deonz company's 's base.
Not to shyness of being seen on a motorcycle, but Derek said he didn't want anyone to know of his identity yet. Once they saw him with Aurelius, they would suspect.
Aurelius was famous all through California for being the asset manager of one of California's richest as well as one of the world's richest. To avoid an early knowledge of who he is, he decides to arrive at Deonz company alone with Aurelius taking a different route.
He attempts to drive into the main entrance of the Deonz company's premises when he hears a voice stopping him right on his tracks.
"Hey, hey, stop!" The voice is commanding, harsh and capable of making one incur a heart attack.
He stops, only to turn and see a huge man walking up to him. Compared to his stature, he is shorter and less muscular.
"Where do you think you are going with your despatch motorcycle?" He asks with a sarcastic tone, but keeping a stern face.
"You're a despatch rider, weren't you informed of the despatch delivery unit?"
Derek remains speechless. At first, he is astonished at the disgraceful way this man was talking to him, he knows him from TV as Deonz company's manager, Andrea Lucas.
Secondly, he doesn't want to speak before he ends up saying what he wouldn't want to say. He might end up revealing his identity.
"I'm talking to you, will you answer me! Are you deaf and dumb? You better answer me before I call the security officials for you."
It's at this point that Aurelius arrives. Hearing the loud barking of a man supposed to be the Deonz company's manager, he traces the voice to the direction it seems to be coming from.
Here he meets his new boss being harassed by the manager of the Deonz company.
"Hey, why are you talking to Mr Dawson with so much disrespect? Aren't you aware he is your new boss as well as mine?"
This statement shocks Andrea to the deepest part of his heart, his entire body shrieks in terror. His eyes widens in surprise.
"Are you the… new boss, I mean Mr. Dawson's grandson. Sorry…. the heir?" He stammers, not knowing what to say, and even if he can figure it out, doesn't know how to put it.
It's Derek's turn to deride him. He stares at him with a smirk on his lips, he looks like filth before him. At least, this is what he was hoping for, to be identified after being insulted.
No time could be best for his identification other than this time. He had signed both documents for the transfer of ownership of the Golden Estate and Deonz company from his grandfather to him, so now he was the official owner.
Then he comes back to the pleading Andrea.
"I have no time for you now, I know all about your details, your name and who you are in this Deonz company. When I have the time, I would come back for you."
"I'm so sorry sir, I didn't know you are the new owner of this Deonz company."
"That's why you always have to treat everyone well, you don't know who is who." Derek gives a sinister smile while his tone seems to be forgiving.
Andrea knows that some punishment is being prepared for him in his mind. He follows him pleading. This is the only job he has and wouldn't want to be sacked.
He has gone so far with the Deonz company to be laid off from his work at this point. It would be most embarrassing not to be laid off out of the Deonz company's failure but over an insolent attitude towards the new owner.
"If you follow me a step further, I wouldn't hesitate to call the security and have them arrest you!"
Derek stops to give him this serious order. Just one word is enough to send him to jail, Andrea realizes this. He has now taken his granddad's place among the world's richest.
Not really that he would bribe the security to take him to jail but he would report an assault case to the authorities, after getting tried in court and found guilty, the next available place for him would be the prison. A place Andrea never dreams of.
He steps back to avoid this.
Then Derek gives him a deep stare and sighs.
"I know you were just doing your job, an obligatory one but you did it in the wrong way. You think I'd sack you? No, but I'll give you the right punishment you deserve."
"Let's go!" He tells Aurelius. They walk away leaving Andrea behind.
Immediately Derek leaves with Aurelius, the security guards take Andrea off, taking him alongside with them. A gap of five meters is maintained between them. Derek turns and stares at them. "Take him off me, give him two days detention. He did his obligatory job but not in the right way." "Okay sir," they respond, already being aware of who he is. "We want to meet with your Deonz company's officials, I think you wouldn't have to dress in this." Aurelius says in the most polite way, after looking down at Derek who is dressed in the most casual way. "Okay, did you make provisions for that?" "Yeah, we have a fashion boutique inside of this Deonz company's base but it's not for sale, strictly for the officials and everyone who holds an important position in this Deonz company. You are top on the list." He smiles warmly, making Derek feel good about himself. At least he has someone that acknowledges and respects him. "We are going there first." Derek follows Aurelius to the dressi
Derek manages to maintain a good disposition during the meeting which is scheduled to last for an hour, twenty minutes. Here, he is getting introduced to the senior officials of the Deonz company as their new boss. It wouldn't stop here as each one of them will have to introduce themselves to him as well. Andrea being the only person left. "I wished I could see the the junior staff today!" He said during the meeting. "We are sorry," the Director General stands up to reply. "We weren't informed earlier of your arrival, sir. They are on break, not within the vicinity of this company. Perhaps we can organize for you to meet with them another day?" He leaves his statement as a question, waiting for Derek to reply. "No problem, I'll communicate to my personal manager who will get to you when next I'm coming." He tells him. "Okay sir." He replies and sits down. The meeting finishes after the series of events fixed with the time set is exhausted. Now Derek can return home to meet wit
After a journey of one and a half hours, he arrives at home, hoping to find Gianna and his wife. By now they should have reached home, he plans to inquire about what Sancho needed from her. Sancho is a director in the Deonz company.Surprise hits him hard when he arrives at the apartment where he stays with Tahlia and her mom, Gianna only to find the main entrance locked, just as they left it. He realizes at once that there was no one in. When the main entrance which the other doors are assessed from is locked, it's a clear indication that there is no one in. He picks up his phone to call his wife's line, hoping this time around, she is going to be the one to pick it and not someone else. He had been happy to finish the meeting with his grandfather on time so as to come back before it was too late and they got to suspect where he went. Standing outside of the apartment frustrated as the phone continues to ring without anyone picking, he thinks of what to do. "Should I call Aurel
When he arrives at Sancho's residence, the security officials at the gate come out to question him. "Young man, where are you heading to?" The leader of the security team steps forward to ask. About four of his colleagues are behind him, gazing at Derek with bad eyes. "Who are you and what do you want?" The second officer comes up to ask. "You shouldn't ask where he is heading to but who he is first of all." He corrects his colleague and sure, this is the very first question the security leader is supposed to ask. "I'm Derek Dawson by name, it has reached my ears that my wife is here with Erickson Sancho." "Who told you?" The third man asks. Here he realizes what he has done, he doesn't in any way intend to put his friend into trouble. "I need to have my wife come out here, I want Tahlia. How can a famous man like him commit such a scandal, taking a married woman to his house?" He breathes so heavily, with the intensity of his heart beat. What gives him the audacity to stand ou
Sancho feels threatened by what he said and orders his security guards to stop him from riding out of the exterior of his estate. "Get him now!" "He can't get away with this!" He is disturbed by the threats. Derek who fears what's going to happen to him thinks of telling them who he is as well as showing them his new ID card which was made for him when he signed the documents of transfer of ownership of his family's assets. On a second thought, he determines not to tell them. He wants them to know at the most critical point after they have finished abusing him. But is that not foolishness? A voice asks inside his, his own personal thoughts. He is wondering what would be the need of suffering all tortures, then at the end, his true identity is made known. "Well, along the line it would be revealed to them who I am but I would never tell them." He makes this determination inside him as the police officers Sancho called while he was approaching the gate to see who was making tro
Sancho falls to the ground hearing this, at the verge of giving up consciousness if not for the police paramedic team who rush to give him the medical attention he needs. They on themselves are shocked out of their wit to realize that Derek is more than what they thought. "We didn't know who you were, we wouldn't have even come to arrest you." They cry out in unison, raising their hands up and waving in remorse. Anyone can tell it from their face that this is not what they were expecting. Derek is surprised to see them acting this way, they had rushed and taken the handcuff off his hand. Right now, they were aimed at making Derek forgive them because if he chose to take the whole case further, it would end badly for them as they could be sacked from work. Sancho even after getting proper medical attention still feels weak prior to the fact that he knows what's likely to happen to him as Derek was his new boss. He would want to apologize to him but he keeps his face away, a signa
After Derek leaves the police station, he returns to his estate with his granddad. His secret of being a billionaire has been revealed, now he has to step up on his aim of first building his business empire with the Revenge planned alongside. "It's awful how your very wife treated you." Dawson sighs as they are being driven home in a Limousine. Derek looks at him and sighs. The case of assault by Sancho has been recorded at the police station but he is planning of asking the police to cancel the case. He wants to revenge all of those who had hurt him in the past outside of the government authorities. It's no longer a problem how Tahlia treated him, the time he has been waiting for has come. The sense of fulfillment from this makes him not to answer his grandfather. He would have been pissed and get himself angry if it was before. He would cry over the issue of ill treatment and be sad but now he has no such time. "I'm looking for a way to revenge, avenge both her and her mom." He sa
Derek soon becomes lost in thought as a servant is sent to call him. A tap on the shoulder wakes him back to consciousness after many attempts to draw his attention. He shrieks in fear seeing someone stand beside him. His mind was taken to his former house where he lived with Tahlia and her mom. He thought it was either of them. "What do you want?" He asks boldly, remembering that he is a billionaire and no one who knows him of recent would try to bully him because he or she should know what he is worth. "Sir, your grandfather is in the living room and is waiting to have a meeting with you. It would be short though, that's what he asked me to tell you. "Oh maybe he has seen the message I sent him and doesn't want to talk over the phone?" He says to himself, raising his head up, he looks at the servant. "What's your name?" It's quite unusual for a boss to ask the name of a servant or maid. Derek just feels like knowing the name of this young man standing before him. "I'm Chelton,

Derek stood frozen, his heart pounding in his chest as he stared at the woman lying on the hospital bed, her face contorted in pain. It had been years since he last saw Tahlia, his estranged wife, and now she was about to give birth to a child he never knew existed. The realization hit him like a tidal wave, washing away the carefully constructed walls he had built around his emotions.Tahlia glanced up and locked eyes with Derek, a mixture of shock and vulnerability flickering in her gaze. "Derek?" she whispered, her voice barely audible over the sounds of the labor room. "Is it really you?"He nodded, his voice caught in his throat. "Yes, it's me, Tahlia. I can't believe it's you. How did this happen?"Tears welled up in Tahlia's eyes as she struggled to find the right words. "Barbara... she approached me with a proposal. She wanted me to take her place in the agreement. She thought I could help her secure the money by pretending to be her, but I never imagined it would come to this
Derek, Emma, Tahlia, and Barbara sat together in their foundation's office, reflecting on their journey and the impact they had made so far. The room buzzed with excitement as they discussed their plans for the future.Tahlia leaned forward, her eyes shining with determination. "I think it's time we focus on youth empowerment. We have seen firsthand how forgiveness and reconciliation can transform lives. Now, let's empower the next generation to be agents of change."Barbara nodded in agreement. "Youth are the future, and by providing them with the tools and guidance to navigate conflicts and promote understanding, we can create a more peaceful world."Derek smiled, proud of the direction they were taking. "I've been researching youth leadership programs. We can collaborate with schools and organizations to develop workshops and training sessions that foster empathy, conflict resolution, and the power of forgiveness."Emma added, "We should also incorporate storytelling and art as med

And it's all thanks to the power of forgiveness and our unwavering belief in the potential for growth and redemption in every individual."Barbara chimed in, "I'm grateful for the chance to meet others who are dedicated to creating positive change. Derek, Emma, and Tahlia sat together in their cozy living room, basking in the warmth of their newfound peace. The evening sun cast a golden glow through the window, creating a serene atmosphere."So much has happened," Tahlia said, breaking the comfortable silence. "I can't believe we went through all of that together."Emma nodded, a soft smile playing on her lips. "It feels like a lifetime ago, doesn't it? But we made it, stronger than ever."Derek reached out, gently taking Tahlia's hand in his. "I never thought we would come out the other side like this. Our love has been tested, but it has proven to be unbreakable."Tahlia squeezed his hand, her eyes filled with gratitude. "I'm so thankful for both of you. You've shown me what true love is, and I'll never take it for granted."Emma leaned in, her voice filled with excitement. "Now that the dust has settled, what do you think the future holds for us? We've overcome so much together. The possibilities are endless."Derek pondered
Officer Reynolds arrived at Derek, Emma, and Tahlia's home, accompanied by a team of investigators. The officers carefully examined the scene, taking notes and collecting evidence.Officer Reynolds approached the trio, his voice reassuring. "We're here to investigate the break-in and find out who is responsible. We'll do everything we can to bring them to justice."Derek nodded, his jaw set with determination. "Thank you, Officer. We just want to feel safe in our home again."Emma added, her voice firm, "We won't let this incident define us. We'll rise above it."As the officers continued their work, Tahlia's mind raced with questions. She turned to Derek and Emma, her voice tinged with concern. "Do you think this break-in is connected to our past? Could someone be trying to hurt us?"Derek exchanged a knowing glance with Emma before answering. "It's too soon to tell, Tahlia. Let's not jump to conclusions. We need to trust the authorities to investigate thoroughly."Just then, Detecti
Derek, Emma, and Tahlia sat together in their cozy living room, the warm glow of the fireplace casting dancing shadows on the walls. It had been a year since they embarked on their journey of healing and forgiveness, and they had come a long way.Derek looked at Emma, his eyes filled with gratitude.Derek said, "Emma, I can't thank you enough for standing by me through all of this. Your love and support have been my anchor."Emma smiled, her hand reaching out to intertwine with Derek's. "Derek, we've been through so much together. It hasn't been easy, but it has been worth it. Our love and commitment have grown stronger through these challenges."Tahlia, who had been quietly observing their exchange, spoke up with a soft smile. "I'm grateful for both of you and the chance you've given me. I've learned so much about myself and what it means to truly make amends."Derek turned to Tahlia, his expression filled with sincerity. "Tahlia, I've seen the changes you've made. Your dedication
Derek, Emma, and Tahlia sat in silence, the weight of the revelation hanging in the air. Each of them was lost in their own thoughts, contemplating the implications of this unexpected turn of events.Emma broke the silence, her voice filled with a mix of empathy and concern. "Derek, I know this is a lot to process, and I understand if you need time to think things through. We've come so far in rebuilding our lives together, and it's important that we navigate this revelation with care and honesty."Derek nodded, his gaze still fixed on Tahlia."Tahlia, why didn't you tell me sooner? Why keep it a secret until now?"Tahlia wiped away her tears, her voice filled with remorse. "I was afraid, Derek. Afraid of losing you again. I wanted to prove that I had changed, that I was willing to sacrifice everything for a chance at reconciliation. But I realize now that keeping this secret only caused more harm."Derek leaned back in his chair, deep in thought. "I need time to process all of this.
