Bang!
"Kyaaa!"
A girl's voice rang out as she saw Orion's right hand bleeding profusely.
Orion looked behind him to see the leader with a gun, in his good right hand glaring at him.
"Nobody touches him. He is mine." The leader spoke to his mates who were on the verge of shooting Orion.
Ignoring him, Orion continued to walk toward the last part of his broken ring.
Bang!
Orion's left arm gave out but he still continued to walk. His pains dulled and on his mind now was just the memento of his family.
Bang!
Crash!
Orion crashed on the ground as his left leg refused to budge.
"Ah...ah...ah...ah...ah"
Crawling on the ground, little by little he reached the second part of the ring and retrieved it.
Turning his body around, he laid down on the ground while clenching on his chest the two parts of the broken ring with his left hand.
"I...am...sorry...mom...dad...Saria..."
Orion muttered and tears flowed out.
"O-Orion..." Aura put her hand on her mouth and knelt on the ground like most of her classmates.
Apart from a few people, it was the first time they all saw a person really dying right in front of them and a classmate on top of that.
But seeing him so attached to his dead family, made them remember that they also had a family and, alive thankfully...
"N-No way..." Elena was shocked by what she saw and wished it was just a nightmare.
"I'm sorry..." Anna muttered before averting her eyes.
"..." Sienna was speechless at what she assisted, her heterochromia eyes were rippling with emotions.
"Orion..." Austin was feeling miserable as he couldn't do anything.
The leader dragged his bloodied body in front of Orion.
"Time to kill you, brat." He said, pointing the gun toward Orion's face.
"NO!" Aura cried.
Swooooosh!
Suddenly, Orion's body was enveloped in a white light.
"The hell?!" The leader jumped back and opened his eyes wide at the surreal scene.
"B-Boss!" His mate called out.
The leader turned around to see all the students being enveloped in a white light and vanishing afterward.
WHOOSH!
"WHAT the hell is happening ?!!!"
***
In a spacious golden hall, several people were standing stunned by the course of events.
"Wh-what happened ?"
Aura was bewildered by the situation.
Their bodies suddenly shone and they ended up there.
Looking around, Aura could see the other students as confused as her.
""Aura!""
"Noemi, Maeva!"
Reuniting with her friends, she hugged them. They had been in a terrifying situation after all.
"You are finally conscious heroes of the otherworld."
A majestic voice rang out.
They all turned toward the voice to see a golden-haired and blue-eyed handsome man in his mid twenties looking at them.
"Who are you and why...?"
Jordan asked, but his voice turned confused seeing the clothes of the man. He was wearing the typical robe royalty of the medieval age on earth.
"I am the Emperor of the Solaria Empire, Helio Damian Solaria." He replied with a strong tone.
"Em-Emperor ? What kind of prank is this ?"
Anna asked with a frown.
"It's not a joke and she is my Empress."
Helio turned around to reveal an extremely beautiful woman in her early twenties. She had straight black hair with beautiful blue eyes.
"I am the Empress of Solaria Empire, Margreth Solaria, greetings heroes."
Margreth bowed, lifting the hem of her dress slightly.
Several male students gulped upon seeing her. She was very beautiful.
"Cough! We summoned you all here to help us."
"S-So you kidnapped us ?!" Aura asked Helio in an angry tone.
"No, not really..."
"What ?!" Aura was getting angry.
They were taken as hostages by a bunch of psychos and just when she thought it was over, they were again in the custody of someone else.
"If you are here with us, then it means you died in your world."
"No! WE didn't die, we..."
"Or you were on the verge of dying a few seconds later."
Helio added further.
""EH?""
They were all shocked by his revelation.
"Listen heroes. The spell we used was a spell which brings people who died in another world into this world. If you didn't die, then it means that you would have died a few minutes later in your world. It's not a kidnapping, believe me." Margreth said with an honest face.
*Gasps*
Several students gasped at the Empress's explanation.
They understood something from her words.
That they were somehow saved by their summoning as they didn't die.
"S-So we can still go back alive to our world ?"
One of the girls asked nervously.
"Yes. It's possible but you need to find a Soul Relic for that."
Helio nodded with a bitter smile.
"Soul relic ?"
Andrew asked, confused. No, rather he was on the verge of having his brain short-circuited.
'A summoning in another world like in those Japanese novels ? The hell ?!'
"Yes, we used a soul relic to bring you all here."
All the students' shoulders slumped at that.
"But don't worry, you can find others in other kingdoms or maybe in the rifts."
Helio reassured them with a smile.
"Rifts ?" Austin was confused about the word.
"It's a place where you could find treasures and artifacts, but it's a dangerous place as monsters are roaming around," Helio replied.
"Artifacts ? M-Monsters ?!" Austin was shocked by the fantasy words.
"So it's a dungeon."
"As expected of a fantasy world."
Jaxon and Jake replied calmly, but there was no doubt that they were the most excited to be there.
"How many do we need ?" Jordan asked in an arrogant voice.
In this world, he didn't have his father and power, so he was very panicked inwardly.
"Hm? We used only one soul relic to bring her all you, so just one will be enough, I think." Margreth answered in a soft voice.
"Do we have to fight those monsters ?! We are high schoolers !"
Aura asked again angrily. The cheerful one was nowhere to be seen.
"Please don't worry. You have been summoned by a divine spell, so you have all acquired abilities to protect and fight."
The Emperor replied with a reassuring smile. He wasn't a devil to send children of the same age to death.
"Huh ?!"
"Really !"
"Can I have the sharingan ?!"
"Idiot! The rinnegan is better!"
The previously nervous students became excited at the prospect of having superpowers like animes and movies.
"How do we know what power we have ?" Jordan asked in an indifferent voice, but there was a slight impatience in his voice. If he had no power in this world, then he just had to create one on his own. The Emperor smiled at their excitement and replied. "Follow me, you need to awaken your abilities as you came just a few minutes ago." "Few minutes ago ?" Anna frowned. 'Wasn't that just two minutes ?' "Oh yes. It's because upon arriving here you were in a state of trance for a few minutes, that's why." Helio replied to the confused people. "I see..." "Oh, now that I remember your friend will join us soon." Helio said as he remembered the bloodied youth. "Friend ?" Anna was confused. "Yes, the person wearing the same dress as you, who had blood all over his body." "Orion?!" Aura shouted in a loud voice. "Oh, his name was Orion ?" Helio smiled as the name was familiar to their world. "H-How is he ?" Aura asked nervously. All the students waited for his reply. "Don't wo
"N-No way..." "Pfft!" Liana stifled a laugh at Orion's panicked figure. Truthfully, she hadn't laughed that much since long ago. "Lord hero, there is a change of clothes here so please change yourself." Looking at the drenched uniform of Orion, Liana pointed at a shelf in the room. "Y-Yes thank you very much." Liana smiled at him and left the bathroom. "She was really beautiful..." Orion muttered, but quickly shook his head. Then he removed his clothes and gasped. "This is really another world !" He uttered seeing his body perfectly healed. He was shot by a true gun several times after all, but now there was not even a single scratch. Suddenly he remembered what had happened. "I can't believe what is happening..." Just the fact that he was taken as hostage and shot by a gun was really movie-like, but now he was literally in another world. Thinking about that, he took the neatly folded clothes from the shelf. 'Black pants, white shirt, blazer and tie. Is it a formal out
Andrew Whiteford was the son of Mayson Whiteford, a Command Sergeant Major in the United States. He was very handsome and had dotting parents, so he got all he wanted from little. On one day, he met a few little girls at a party. At that time, they were children, so he didn't care, but as they grew up, he found them more and more beautiful. Until that day, they became known throughout the whole world as the most beautiful high school girls in the world. Of course, it didn't mean there were no other beautiful girls like them, but these four were the most famous and had a great background for their beauty, so they were really desired by all men. Unfortunately, Andrew was famous for being a skirt-chaser and those rumours got into the four girls. Andrew quickly understood that the four of them were keeping a good distance from him, so he changed his plans. Upon entering high school in Paris, he made a few friends. For him, they were stupid, but they inflated his ego nicely, so he d
Raising his head, Orion looked at his classmates. They were all wearing suits and dresses. In all his class, Orion was without a doubt the most average one. With Princess Liana next to him, he was outshined easily. They were all mostly looking at Liana except a few. "Eh ?" Suddenly, Orion met Aura's gaze. She was smiling awkwardly at him. But Orion quickly averted his gaze. He remembered when no one stepped in for him when the leader punched him and took his pendant. He knew it was normal as they didn't consider him as a friend or acquaintance to begin with. But that's why Orion preferred not to do anything with them anymore. At that time, he believed naively that someone would step up, as he was just a nobody who didn't have a background like them. Unfortunately, no one stepped in. At that moment, Orion truly understood that his classmates didn't give a damn about him. "Lord Orion ?" Liana called out, seeing Orion's conflicted face. Orion looked back at her and saw her wor
The Imperial family, guards, maids, butlers and priests were shocked by the attributes of the otherworlders. Half of them had extremely rare attributes and the others, though they had nothing special, their affinities on their attributes were very high. Indeed, they were all already very strong even though they had just awakened! There was no doubt that in a few weeks they would be the strongest people in the Empire. Now, there were still two people left to awaken and the atmosphere was very lively. "You want to go first, Orion ?" Austin asked with a smile, causing several girls to blush. "N-No, it's okay. I will go after you." Orion also replied with a smile, but there were no blushing girls around but concerned people. Orion was so different from his classmates that the people of the empire wondered for a second if he was not a random guy from their Empire. "Okay", Austin nodded and walked toward the stele. Placing his right hand on it, he waited. [Austin Lachman, Blue F
The whole hall looked at the figure of the crying Orion running away. Unfortunately, it did not stop the mockery, but there were more. "L-Lord Orion!" Liana tried to chase after him. "Liana leave him." The Emperor stopped her. "B-But father...!" "You have a job as a princess, don't forget." Liana closed her mouth. She was the princess of the empire, so she had to accompany the others heroes in priority. Aura and Austin tried to rebuke the others but it was useless. As for the others who didn't mock Orion, they were just indifferent. "Please heroes." A sweet voice echoed and the mocking stopped. Turning around, they saw Liana looking at them with an award-winning gentle smile. "Please follow me. We will explain to you about our world." Saying that, she walked ahead. Her voice was soft but even an idiot could tell that she was angry. Angry at those who made fun of Orion and those who didn't do anything either. She was the princess of the Empire, so she couldn't rebuke the
The continent of Dreamland was composed of several Empires and Kingdoms. The Solaria Empire, Lunarstella Empire, Nychterin Empire, Ankouna Empire, Niveis Kingdom and Fulgura kingdom. Three groups could be formed inside those countries in enmity with each other. The Solaria Empire, Nychterin Empire and Fulgura Kingdom on one side. The Lunarstella Empire and Niveis Kingdom are on other side. Finally, the great Ankouna Empire on the last side. There may be other continents but it was impossible to reach them due to the huge space rift blocking the way. The Solaria Empire worshipped the God Solas, while the Lunarstella was the Goddess Lunaria. The reason the Goddess Lunaria was considered as heretic was because it was said that she betrayed the God Solas, while in the Lunarstella Empire it was the contrary. Nobody knew what really happened but both Empires chose to defend their gods. "Sigh...there is something strange about their gods." Orion let out a tired sigh as he closed th
"Rion ?""Y-yes...?"He was feeling even more weirder when she called him 'Rion'."Rion are you ...""Your highness."Suddenly, a voice called out to Liana.Turning around, she saw a knight in golden armor, the signature armor of the Solaria Empire."Yes ?""His Majesty called you and Lord Hero. It is time for the training under Lady Riona."The knight replied while glancing at Orion. He had been there since two minutes ago and was shocked by their interactions. They were not in love with each other, so why was it like they were flirting in public?!"I see, let's go Rio...Orion."As expected, even Liana was embarrassed to be watched when they were calling each other by their nicknames."Yes..."Orion stood up with a reluctant face. It was Riona who was training them today. She was extremely strict during their training and Orion was the one suffering the most obviously.Orion and Liana walked in the hallway. The maids, butlers and knights all bowed nobly but frowned upon seeing her wi
The Nychterin Empire, once overshadowed by hardship, had transformed into a beacon of power and resilience on the Dreamland continent. This remarkable evolution was a stark contrast to its past, a past marred by the scars of a war that had ravaged the nation hundreds of years earlier. During those tumultuous times, the Nychterin Empire had borne the brunt of the conflict, losing countless knights to the enemy's clutches. The aftermath was even grimmer, marked by a scarcity of labor and, more poignantly, a pervasive sense of desolation that had settled over the populace. Widows mourned, children became orphans, and the Empire seemed to teeter on the precipice of despair. Yet, amid this darkness, a glimmer of hope emerged. The Solaria Empire, a benevolent force, extended a compassionate hand to their beleaguered neighbors. Without seeking recompense, they aided in the Empire's reconstruction and dispatched healers to tend to the wounded souls. Although the specter of gloom lingered, the
“You-You want to take part in the tournament?”Selena stammered, speechless at Aita’s demand.“Yeah.”Aita nodded casually.“Why, suddenly? You told me yesterday you were not interested?”Selena tried her best to keep her calm.“I want the reward.”“!”Shock filled Selena’s face. Did he want the reward? So Princess Evelyn? She couldn’t believe it.“Wh-Why? You already have me…”Selena started to doubt her own worth now. She didn’t want to brag about it, but she considered herself not less beautiful than Evelyn Nychterin. Or maybe Aita liked the innocent-type more?“What?”Aita, as dense as ever, wondered what the hell she was speaking about. He only wanted the second reward, the other part of his spear after all.“Can I use you in need every day? Would you be with me any time?”Aita said in a mocking tone. She wasn’t a weapon after all.“Idiot!”-Thud!Selena threw the cup of coffee in Aita’s face and ran away with a tomato-red face.***“Princess.”“...”“Princess?”“Ah!”Selena brok
“Ahhhh…He’s taking his time.” Daisy yawned as she rubbed her sleepy eyes. More than an hour had passed and Aita still hadn’t come out. She was on the verge of sleeping on the floor but held back. She could wait for Aita. Aita had still saved her best friend and her. “What the hell is he doing?!” Anna, still hidden in the corner, was reaching the limits of her patience. “Anna, seriously, we should go…I really want to sleep…” Isabel leaned on the wall and was on the verge of falling asleep like that. “No! Wait a little mor-” “Daisy?” “““!””” “Le-Lena?” Daisy was surprised to see Elena here. She was sure Elena would play or speak with Aura for a few more hours at least… “What are you doing outside and you will catch a cold like that.” Elena sighed, seeing Daisy standing there in a negligee. Elena was also wearing a blue negligee but she was wearing a jacket on it. “A-Ah, well…” Daisy scratched her head, not knowing what to do. Aita was still inside the room after all. Still,
Late at night, Aita left his room. He wandered in the corridor of the palace aimlessly. The guards roaming around would bow to him upon seeing him, otherwise they would let him. They probably thought he wanted to take a breath of fresh air. After an hour or so, he started to walk toward the section reserved for the girls in his class. Like Daisy had promised, she would leave him in their room. Waiting for the right time, he went to the ladies' side. He made sure to erase any sound of his steps with his wind. He didn’t want to cause another uproar and be labeled with another cringe nickname. He already wanted to erase his memories just thinking about what he was doing. Infiltrating the ladies’ dormitory at night? Anyone would label him as human trash.Reaching the room of Daisy and Elena, Aita knocked on the door. He was having a hard time keeping his face from distorting. All his actions seemed like he was going to sleep with a woman late at night…“Look, Isabel, I knew it!”At the en
“You had a tough day, Aita.”Selena said with a glare. They went back to the palace and the first person who welcomed Aita was Selena. She had an exhausted complexion but she still looked like a perfect princess. Her sapphire eyes were staring angrily at Aita and mostly the knights of Lunarstella. She told them to look after Aita so he wouldn’t do anything, threatening their truce, but they couldn’t do anything. They all averted their faces in shame. They couldn’t tell that Aita at that time was too scary to speak to. More than that, they were also angry at Rex and the others for what they had done.“...”Aita stared at Selena. Her face overlapped with the mature Selena of the recording. Her tears, her sad expression, her helplessness, everything overlapped with the current Selena. He couldn’t understand why that woman he didn’t know at all was making his emotions stir that much. He cared for Selena Luna Lunarstella, but not her great-great-aunt.“Aita?”Selena called out to Aita sinc
“What happened…”Aura asked. Behind her were all her classmates, the knights of Solaria and Lunarstella. They were silently waiting for two people to answer. The two people were, of course, Aita and Elena who, after two days, finally reached the entrance of the rift. Austin, Jake, Jaxon and Daisy had already arrived as well the day before, so everyone was there. Well, everyone except Gaut and Rex, who were killed by Aita. By the way, Bein was sitting with a blank expression in a corner ignoring them. Anyway, most of the stares were gathered on two people. Aita and Elena. Aita had his black mask off but he still had his skin mask, which didn’t please him in the slightest as he felt uncomfortable with it, so his current annoyed expression. Right behind, strangely close to him, was Elena, who seemed to be happy to finally reunite with her classmates.“Nothing.”Aita replied clearly, showing that he was annoyed at her question, and walked ahead. “Hmpf!”Aura harrumphed and went to Elena
“...”“...”Silence reigned in the empty hall. The runes weren’t glowing anymore. Aita and Elena were not speaking. Elena had a pained expression, a little more and she’d have cried. Remembering Selena’s face and her words, she felt despondent for her. She glanced at Aita. He was playing with a little stone. It was the White Crystal that was inside the coffin with the book. The book disappeared as soon as the recording was over. As for the skeleton, Aita had put Selena’s remains inside his space ring. Elena looked at the stone with a complicated expression. She needed four of them to go back on Earth. No. She needed five of them. Four to destroy the space rift, once on the other side, she needed another one to finally reach Earth. In any case, the one in Aita’s hand didn’t belong to her, in the first place, so right now she had nothing.-Gurgleeeee“...”“...”Elena buried her face in her knees, not daring to look at Aita’s current expression. She depleted her mana, so she was exhau
“I am going with the name of Selena Mona Lunarstella. The First Princess of the Great Lunarstella Empire.” Her domineering voice echoed. Looking at her, Aita started to understand why she was hailed as a heroine back then and even now. He could understand how she alone was able to defend Lunarstella from enemies everywhere. She really had the aura of a leader. “I do not know who you are, but I know that you are here with the help of my blood. How many years had gone since the war ? I just hold the hope that my Empire is still there flourishing like it should…” She said in a nostalgic tone. “You, who discovered my tomb. I am going to reveal what I discovered in the hope that you are my blood, or at least someone of my Empire. I gave my spear to my brother so he could give it to his children. I engraved runes on my spear that will serve as key to entering this place when the time will come. I transmitted this emplacement to my brother before leaving the Empire forever.” Selena spoke
“I did nothing! B-Believe me, please!”Elena’s quivering voice kept ringing in the hall. She was speaking to Aita, who was standing, looking at his surroundings. He didn’t seem to care about Elena’s words. Stretching his limbs for a minute, he removed his shirt.“Ah! W-What are you doing, Lord Aita?!”Elena turned her head away with a flushed face.Aita ignored her and took out a new white shirt and put in on while making sure to hide his pendant so Elena wouldn’t see it. He glanced at the ground and saw the silver spear. Stooping down, he took the spear. As usual, it looked like a newly crafted spear as its silver color shone with purity. Swinging the spear a few times, he turned around. Elena was looking at him nervously.“How long have I been out?”He asked. Vivid memories of Artemis were still present in his mind. Memories he shouldn’t have as he wasn’t even born at that moment. Why had he the memories of other people? Anyway, it felt like years had passed, so he wanted to know.
