"Hey, dude, wake up. Hey wake up!" Someone yelled as my eyes gently opened.
"Tengen, he's waking up" someone exclaimed with a lax tone, now certain was a girl.
"Hey... Nice to meet you" a man said as my eyes adjusted to the surrounding.
"Who are you people, where am I?" I asked, sitting up straight.
"Well, I'm Tengen, and this is Claire. And you're in one of our safe house" he replied as he placed down a seat to the left side of the bed I was laying on.
He stands tall atleast 6'3", his athletic physique exuding an aura of quiet confidence. His striking features are accentuated by an unruly mess of black hair, which falls across his forehead in soft, wispy strands. He is wearing shades, so I don't see his eyes.
He wears a sleek, dark blue jacket with a simple, streamlined design. The jacket's left lapel bears a subtle, silver pin, while the right side features a crisp, buttoned closure.
He pairs the jacket with tailored, dark blue trouser of same material. It looks like it's made of a stretchy material that allows for maximum flexibility.
His outfit is completed with boots that resembled Martens molly platform black polished combat boots.
"What am I doing here? Why did you bring me here. Have I been kidnapped!?" I exclaimed as my eyes scan the room.
"Kidnapped? Oh no. We brought you here because. Well, because of who you are and what you can do. You have been noticing some changes right. Like how your senses have heightened, and your eyes glowing sometimes" he said while Claire stood up and sat on a chair to my right, at the far end of the bed.
"How do you know about that?" I asked.
Immediately, another man walked into the room.
"Hey, Tengen, they're asking if he is a special. Know that yet?" He asked, opening the door with his head faced down on his phone.
After walking in, he shifted his gaze towards me and voiced, "Well, he's up. So, is he a special?"
He has neatly styled, sandy-blond hair and piercing green eyes that sparkle with intelligence. He stands around 6'2" with a lean, athletic build.
He wears a sleek, charcoal-gray leather jacket with an asymmetrical design. He pairs it with a loose, ash-gray shirt and tailored, dark-gray trousers. Completed with the same kind of boots Tengen has on.
"We haven't found that yet" Claire replied.
She wears a dark-grey hoodie and sweatpants of same color, completed with black sneakers. She has beautiful blue eyes and blonde hair. She stands around 6'0".
"Special?" I responded with a confused and worried expression on my face.
"Okay, uhmm... What is your name?" Tengen asked.
I hesitated, but answered. "North"
"Okay North, it seems you don't remember the deal you made with your Angel. So, I'm gonna explain" he said while adjusting his seat closer to me.
"If humans die when it's not their time to die yet, or die and aren't satisfied with how they lived. If those humans had good hearts, they get offered a choice by an entity, we call that entity an Angel. Now if they accept, those humans take part of that Angel's being, but not fully. A human can't handle all of that Angel's existence, because there isn't much space to contain a full Angel, so it means there is a limit"
He continued. "When they accept, they become the Angel's Avatar. The Avatar absorbs part of the Angel, and become part Human, part Angel.
If those Avatars train hard enough, they will be able to tap lots of energy from their Angels, and manifest that energy into something usable. Meaning they get powers, super powers, pretty cool right. Yeah.... Super powers.." He uttered.
"Could you just continue" Claire exclaimed, her voice laced with annoyance as she crossed her legs.
He cleared his trout and continued.
"So, yeah. They manifest powers. You would know from the Angelic signs on their bodies. Like for example, I have one on my left arm, and Claire has on her... You know, between her... You know" he said while displaying a gesture of pointing to his chest.
"I have on my chest, between my boobs! Yes he gets it!" Claire exclaimed.
"For Mark, my best friend right there, he is not an Avatar. So he does not have one. All Avatars do, each with their unique sign. Mine is a straight curvy white line along my arm, like a sickle. But yours will be different. One thing is common though, the color. The color of it for all Avatars is white. My guess is you've already noticed yours, right?"
"Your hair, right?" Claire asked.
"Yeah. It's different. I was not born this way" I replied.
"Waw, that's cool. It means you can access your powers anytime you want because they've manifested. I wonder what they are" Tengen said.
"Well, not anytime" Claire voiced.
"What does that mean?" I asked.

It is flat with North in the middle, while South at the end"He elaborated. "At the end of the earth is where south is located, east and west are two directions of North. Picture a pizza and place a toothpick in the middle. Now pour cheese on the middle, be cautious not to make it spill everywhere. Now that cheese is the land we stay on, the toothpick in the middle is North, and edges of the pizza are South. And South is covered with ice walls.
