"Who's there?" The assassin in purple robes froze, his body stiffening.

Another person was here that even he did not notice. The thought sent chills down the assassin's spine. Though he could not use Spiritual Awareness in this place, the more skilled one was, the sharper their senses remained.

Hearing the sigh from atop the mountain where he lay collapsed, Ethan struggled to open his eyes. He thought he saw a middle-aged man, one who seemed vaguely familiar, before sinking into unconsciousness once more.

Ethan's injuries were too grievous.

At the peak of the great mountain, the assassin's horrified gaze landed upon the sudden manifestation of a figure, or rather, the ghostly image of one.

The man appeared to be in his mid-thirties, tall and broad-shouldered, with long black hair spilling over his shoulders. Though his features were rugged and distinct, his eyes held a profound, ageless melancholy.
