Back on Earth, hot air balloons were made with materials like silk, nylon, and polyester for the balloon and wicker or bamboo for the basket. But here in Jola, we don't have access to those materials. We have to work with what we have, which is cotton for the cloth and steel for the basket.

As for the fuel, I'm going to use tar. It's a sticky substance made from the distillation of wood or coal, and it's readily available here in Jola. It's not the most efficient fuel, but it will do the job.

Making a hot air balloon is a complex process. First, we have to design the balloon itself. We'll need to figure out the size and shape of the balloon, as well as how much weight it can carry. Then we'll need to sew the cotton together to create the envelope of the balloon.

Next comes the basket. We'll use steel rods to create a frame, and then weld them together to form the basket. It needs to be sturdy enough to hold up to 50 people, so we'll have to make sure it's well-c
