Chapter 159

"You asked for it." Philip muttered, and then his powers activated and his perception of time slowed.

The man was stationary, his mouth still curled in an arrogant smirk. Philip was sure that he was going to wipe it off his face.

He walked up to him and pulled his fist back before throwing a punch. To his surprise, however, his fist stopped a few inches away from his face.

The phenomenon made him frown. He felt like he had hit a solid wall. A very solid wall, dense enough to stop his punch. And yet, there appeared to be nothing in front of him.

'No, that's not right.' Philip said as he squinted closer at the man’s body. Sure enough, it was very faint, but there was a slight shimmer around the guy's body.
