Chapter 28

Philip stood in the rain without the slightest care of how he was getting drenched. Instead, he simply smiled to himself as numerous thoughts ran through his mind.

'It's been around three minutes in reality, but that should have been 7 to 8 hours to me. And I spent all that time practicing my air walk. I think I should move on to the next thing.' When he thought of that, his smile grew. He couldn't wait for when he could test these new skills on something.

Dismissing the thought, he focused on his next practice target.

'Every action has an opposite reaction. It's the same premise that centers around things like thrusters. Though in my case, recoil.' He thought.

Usually, when a gun fires, the bullet moves at incredible speed. However, the force of the ejection also causes the gun to be forced backwards. That's recoil.

That's why most people need extensive training before they can use a firearm. If they hold it wrong when they fire, breaking their wrist is not a rare occurrence.
