Chapter 60

By this point, Christopher had already accepted his fate and began walking back to the orphanage. He was cold, hungry and bruised from the way he was thrown out of the car.

Tears rolled down his cheeks as he saw the big wooden doors of the orphanage. At his little age he was still able to feel the pain of being rejected by your own parents.

The thoughts that were running through his mind were not thoughts any six year old should be thinking about.

“What do I do? How do I eat? What happens if the people in the orphanage do not like me?” Those thoughts ran through Christopher’s mind at the speed of light and tears welled up in his eyes as he stood faced with the door in front of him.

Just a few minutes ago he was in his parents car and now he was an orphan. Or not orphan since his parents were still alive, he had been abandoned.
