Phillip and his group watched as the cars Kaiser and his group came in drive off and disappeared into the distance. A part of Phillip wanted to pursue after them and try to rescue Christopher, but his logic returned to him moments later.“Hmmmm” his attention returned back to Dina who was squirming in his arms. Back at the base, Frank and Greyson had gotten news that Phillip and the rest of the team had returned. However they heard that rather than returning with positive news and Christopher, they returned without the target and an injured Dina.“The reports aren’t good sir.” The soldier who accompanied the group said while standing in front of Greyson and Frank in the office.“Give me a detailed report of your findings and discoveries on the expedition. Christopher woke up to the feeling of something licking his toes. He tried to sit up but he felt his hands tied behind his back. He could feel a similar sensation with his legs as well. He managed to raise his head over his lower body to see a couple of rats licking his toes. “Ahhh.” He yelled as he frantically worked his body till the lettering rodents ran away.“Haaa…haaaa where am i?” He asked as he looked around the enclosed room. Rays of light seeped through cracks in the walls and ceiling. Another flashback ensues within Christopher’s mind about the happenings from before. “What the hell is that?” One of the soldiers screamed in horror as the creature removed its tail from the bow lifeless soldiers body.The sound of gunshots filled the air as more soldiers began running in different directions as more creatures began falling out.In an instant all the immigrants who had been composed scattered in multiple directions as everyone wanted to escape from the beasts.Franklin was no different as he immediately got up and ran away, trying to put distance between himself and the ensuing chaos.He ran several feet away from the camp to where there was a warehouse that contained vehicles.
