Chapter 81

Christopher shuddered hard when he saw the hideous face of the man in front of him. His left eye socket had a huge gash and slash across it, properly exposing the socket and flesh underneath.

His head was bald with the scar running across the top. It looked as though he had been injured in a battle previously but whatever it was, it was unsightly.

He got up from behind his wooden table and passed the trays with utensils and surgical tools. He walked up to Christopher and put his hand on his face, turning his head roughly while observing him.

“Hmm, I’m guessing this is the special grade we had been keeping tabs on from earlier?” The man asked while analyzing Christopher’s pupils.

“From what we heard he should be able to manipulate sound waves no?” He asked.

“Well no sir, it looks as though he has other abilities. His major trait is that of invulnerability.” He said and the man’s eyes lit up immediately.

“Invulnerability? To what extent would you say he is invulnerable?” He said a
