Footsteps could be heard frantically running down the hallway.
Suddenly the door to Alastair's apartment slammed open.
"Alastair!" Aya exclaimed, hurrying in.
"This better be some sick joke!" She cried angrily.
Alastair, seated at his desk, with his chair turned to the window, didn't respond.
"Alastair...!" Aya exclaimed.
"Paige has a shoot right now. but she's freaking out; we're all freaking out, so tell me what happened!" She demanded.
"I told you already," Alastair began, his chair slowly turning.
"She got kidnapped," He said as he blew smoke from his cigarette.
Aya's eyes widened.
"You told me you quit..." She whispered.
"I did quit," he replied.
"But now that she's gone, I can-"
Suddenly Aya's hand flew across the desk, slapping Alastair hard across the face.
Alastair kept his gaze fixed steadily on the desk.
"You've been deserving that for years," she said w
Back at the secluded part of Experiment Labs, a car pulled up to the lot. "Master!" A voice called out. "Hey, Master!" The voice chimed again. Honch, sitting at the control panel of the spirit regenerator, turned his head. "What is it, Cya?" He questioned as if he could care less. "I did it!" She cried out eagerly. "Did what, exactly?" Honch asked, turning his attention back to the spirit regenerator. "Well, you know how Mr. Eon asked to borrow me, right?" She asked. "Mhm," Honch nodded, only half paying attention. "Well," she continued. "My assignment was to kidnap some brat, and I pulled it off!" She beamed. Honch turned his head. "Right... there was some child the labs were after for quite a bit, wasn't there?" He questioned. "Mhm, mhm!" Cya nodded her head vigorously. "However," Honch began. "Eon is on vacation, isn't he?" He frowned. "Well," Cya began.
Wandering through a heavy fog was Rachael, looking around helplessly for something or rather someone. "Alastair?" She called out. "Alastair, where are you...?" She whimpered. Suddenly, from the corner of her eye, she caught a glimpse of something familiar. Her eyes twinkled. "Alastair!" She cried out in relief, quickly rushing over to the man and embracing him. The man stood with his back towards the girl, remaining completely still and silent. "Alastair...?" She cocked her head in confusion. As she reached for his hand, Alastair quickly pulled it away. Rachael's eyes widened. "Say, Alastair, we can go home now, yes...?" She whispered. The man's shoulders began bobbing up and down as he suddenly burst out laughing. "We?" He sneered. "What do you mean can we go home?" He questioned. Rachael's heart dropped. "B-but, Alastair," "Don't you get it, Rachael?" He
As Rachael lay fast asleep on the bed, a little girl began shaking her fervently. "Hey!" The girl called out. "Excuse me...!" She called out once more. The girl then turned her head towards Honch. "It's no good, papa. Is she dead?!" The little girl cried out in alarm. Honch let out a laugh. "She's not dead; I'm sure she's just beyond exhausted, Fiora." He reassured. "But...!" Fiora pouted. "Now, now," he began. "I know you'd like to play with her, but for now," he continued, kneeling. "Let her rest, okay?" He said, patting her head. "F-fine..." Fiora grumbled. Thank goodness she's still fast asleep before she has the opportunity to spot me... Honch thought to himself in relief as he headed towards the door. "Ack!" Fiora suddenly shrieked. "What's the matter, Fiora?!" Honch exclaimed, rushing back over to her. "A bug, a bug, kill it, papa, please kill it!" She desperately pleaded. "Where...?" Honch asked, letting out a sigh. "On that girl's face!" She cried, frantically
"B-but...!" Rachael protested, standing up. "Hm?" Honch turned his head. "Oh, right, you..." He frowned. "Worry not, Rachael, I'll have Cya bring you home," he said. "You're letting the person who kidnapped her bring her home...?" Sev questioned, baffled. "Cya has a good heart; she was just following instructions, you see," Honch said with a sigh. "Let us hurry and head down the elevator, now!" He said, looking down from the balcony at the machine anxiously. "M-mm..." Rachael gulped as they left Fiora's bedroom. * After the elevator shaft arrived at the ground level, Cya nor Rosario were anywhere to be found. "Those dimwits...!" Honch cried, placing Fiora down. "Sev!" He barked. "Where on earth did they go?!" He demanded. "Rosario wanted his silly little petal chips, master," Sev explained. "That idiot...!" Honch growled, gritting his teeth in annoyance. *
As Alastair rushed into his apartment to grab a couple of things, there came frantic knocking at the door. Before Alastair could respond, the door swung open, revealing Paige. "Alastair!" Paige cried. "Aya told me everything; give me your keys!" She demanded. "Huh?!" Alastair exclaimed. "What the hell?! I'm not giving you my car keys!" He roared. "Oh, would you just shut up and hand them over already?!" Paige barked. "What are you planning on d-" "Alastair!" Kiernan exclaimed, barreling into his apartment. "Is it true?! You found Rachael's kidnappers?!" She cried out. "Mm, listen, Kiernan, I'm kind of in a hurry," Alastair began, handing his car keys over to Paige. "Come on, Kiernan, take a ride with me," Paige said. "Paige! Are you out of your damn mind?!" Alastair exclaimed. "Nope!" Paige responded with a glare, turning to the door. "Let's get Kacie on the way too!" Paige cried. "M-mm...!" Kiernan nodded as the pair swiftly headed out the door. Is this whole ordeal ju
Back at the labs, Honch, Rachael, Fiora, and Sev were making their way to the main room, which contained the spirit regenerator. "Um, you will take me home, yes?" Rachael asked nervously, tugging on Honch's shirt. "Yes, yes, eventually," he said, sighing. "Papa," Fiora began. "What is it, Fiora?" Honch questioned. "Is mama a nice lady?" She asked. Honch suddenly stopped walking, causing a domino effect of each person bumping into one another. He then smiled softly as if reminiscing. "Ah, she sure is..." He whispered. "Master, this way, please," Sev impatiently instructed as she began walking ahead. "M-may I stay here until we're ready to go...?" Rachael questioned. "Do whatever it is you want to do," Honch said, swiftly brushing the girl off. Rachael nodded as she watched the other three make their way into the room. * "Where do I turn?" Alastair asked, turning his head around to face Rosario. "F-first of all, keep your eyes on the road, would you?!" Rosario shrieked.
As Alastair, Aya, and the reluctant henchmen of Honch Rosario and Cya continued their trek to rescue Rachael, arguing began to ensue once more. "Make a right!" Rosario exclaimed. "Right, turn right, I said!" He barked. "Oh, just shut it already!" Alastair snapped. "Looks like master Honch neglected to teach you your lefts from your rights, huh?" Cya sneered. "At least he's not the one exclaiming to the world that he kidnapped a child," Aya huffed, pinching Cya's cheek. "Ow!" Cya cried out. "Don't pinch me, you little...!" She growled. "Easy now, Aya," Alastair warned. "Hey, are we almost there yet?" He asked, letting out a sigh, his patience beginning to wear thin. "Maybe we are, maybe we aren't," Rosario replied with a shrug. "I don't have time for your silly little riddles, funny man; answer the damn question," Alastair warned. "F-fine, yes, we're getting close, turn right after this light, and we'll be there!" Rosario instructed. "Hold on for just a little longer, Racha
Standing firmly in front of a little girl stood a young boy. Towering over the two children stood a man in a lab coat. "For the last time, hand her over, you brat!" The man barked. The girl began shaking in fear. The boy narrowed his eyes. "Over my dead body." He said coldly. "Oh?" The man grinned. "Well, I can happily arrange that," he sneered as he began to raise an arm. "367!" The girl cried out. The boy closed his eyes tightly. After a few moments, the boy opened his eyes. Standing behind the other man was a familiar face. "H-Honch...!" The boy cried out. "Listen to me," Honch began warning the man as he grabbed him by his raised arm. "Either you let them go, or I break your arm, you decide." He said coldly. "A-alright, fine! Just let go!" The man shrieked as he struggled to break free. Honch let out a sigh as he released the man, who quickly ran off. Honch then turned his back to the two children. "H-Honch, that was so cool...!" The boy cried out in awe. "Honch
