Hello, my lovely readers! I apologize for such a long delay in chapters! I appreciate your support!
Standing firmly in front of a little girl stood a young boy. Towering over the two children stood a man in a lab coat. "For the last time, hand her over, you brat!" The man barked. The girl began shaking in fear. The boy narrowed his eyes. "Over my dead body." He said coldly. "Oh?" The man grinned. "Well, I can happily arrange that," he sneered as he began to raise an arm. "367!" The girl cried out. The boy closed his eyes tightly. After a few moments, the boy opened his eyes. Standing behind the other man was a familiar face. "H-Honch...!" The boy cried out. "Listen to me," Honch began warning the man as he grabbed him by his raised arm. "Either you let them go, or I break your arm, you decide." He said coldly. "A-alright, fine! Just let go!" The man shrieked as he struggled to break free. Honch let out a sigh as he released the man, who quickly ran off. Honch then turned his back to the two children. "H-Honch, that was so cool...!" The boy cried out in awe. "Honch
After an emotionally draining day, as well as a narrow escape from the explosions, extreme fatigue had hit the boy known as ‘367’."Is he awake yet?" Tessa questioned."Not yet, I’m afraid," Honch replied."367, please wake up!" 366 cried out.“Ah, he’s stirring…!” Tessa exclaimed. As 367 slowly began to open his eyes, 366 tackled him in an embrace.“367, thank goodness you’re alright!” The girl cried out, getting snot on the boy’s shoulder.“W-what’s going on...?” The boy questioned lethargically while struggling to wiggle out of 366’s death hold.“You’ve had quite a long day; perhaps try not to move around too much,” Honch said, giving a soft smile.367 stared blankly at the man for a few moments.Yeah, a long day, no thanks to you, Honch… The boy thought to himself in annoyance.“367, is something troubling you?” Tessa frowned, furrowing her brows.“A-ah, it’s nothing…” The boy chuckled nervously.“Tessa,” Honch began, placing a hand on the woman’s shoulder.“Why don’t you maybe ta
"Are you awake yet?" A voice called out. "Hm...?" 367 questioned as he sat up and wiped his eyes. "I suppose you weren't up quite yet; my apologies, Alastair," Honch said, taking a seat on the end of the boy's bed. "Huh...?" The boy cocked his head in confusion. "You do realize you cannot continue going by '367' for the rest of your life, correct my boy?" Honch chuckled. Suddenly the realization hit the boy. He was no longer confined to a number; he was finally free to live his life as he wished. "Alastair?" Honch frowned as he noticed the boy's shoulders bobbing up and down. "T-thank you..." The boy whispered, trying his best to suppress his tears. Honch then closed his eyes. "No, Alastair, I should be the one thanking you." He said, smiling softly, as he put an arm around the boy. "During our time at that dreaded laboratory, you and Aya are the ones who have taught me countless things time and time again." He smiled, petting the top of the boy's head. * "Breakfast is read
As the years kept coming and going, love eventually blossomed between Honch and Tessa.*"A girl?!" Aya cried out as she gently rubbed Tessa's stomach."Mhm!" Tessa nodded enthusiastically."How is Honch feeling?" Aya questioned."He's a nervous wreck, but I'm sure he'll be able to manage!" Tessa giggled.*As Honch arrived back from grocery shopping, he noticed Alastair leaning on the side of the house facing away."Hey," Honch began as he headed towards him."You better not be smoking again!" He scolded."A girl, huh?" Alastair questioned without looking up."I suppose she couldn't wait until I got home to tell you two the news, hm?" Honch said, smiling softly."Hey, wait, don't change the subject!" Honch cried out."Turn around, Alastair; I know you have a cigarette in your mouth!" He exclaimed.Alastair turned around, revealing a party streamer in his mouth."Yeesh, somebody's on edge because I smoked that one time," Alastair laughed."It was twice, but who's counting..." Honch gr
*As the months came and went, Honch and Tessa's baby was due at any time now.*"Do you have everything packed, babe?" Tessa called out from the top of the stairs."Yes, everything is ready to go, darling," Honch reassured."Here, grab my hand," Alastair said as he reached out to Tessa."Thank you, Alastair!" Tessa beamed as the two headed down the steps.*"Be careful!" Aya cried out, waving goodbye to the soon-to-be parents as they drove off."Hey, Al," Aya began, turning to him."Hm?" Alastair questioned, glancing up from his handheld game."Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but..." She began, looking down steadily."I have a weird feeling about this..." She whispered.Alastair stared at her blankly for a moment before sighing and returning to his game.*As the two were making their way to the hospital, Tessa turned to Honch."Honch," she began."I know I'm probably being silly. However, I need you to know something," she said, looking down steadily."If anything were to happen..."
Alastair and Aya hopped out from either side of the backseat as the taxi doors slammed shut. Upon entering the hospital, there was a whirlwind of sounds as the two ran frantically to the help desk. Alastair, panting and trying to catch his breath, slammed a fist onto the desk. "What room is Tessa Holbrooke in?!" He cried out. "I'm sorry, however-" Before the help desk employee could continue, however, Alastair slammed his fist down yet again. "What room?!" He shrieked tearfully. "R-room 246...!" The employee yelped. "Come on!" Alastair shouted, grabbing a sobbing Aya by the wrist as the two ran hurriedly down the hallway. "Excuse me, please, no running!" A nurse cried out. "Shut it!" Alastair screamed. As the two arrived at room 246, they stopped to catch their breath. "Tessa, please be okay..." Aya whimpered. Whispers were coming from inside the room, along with the sound of an infant's cry. Alastair swallowed hard, firmly taking hold of Aya's hand; he slowly raised a knu
Honch slowly lifted his head, looking over toward Alastair and Aya."Children, I'm sorry..." He paused, clearing his throat."Unfortunately, it seems you were too late..." He whispered, looking back down as he gently stroked his freshly deceased lover's hand."Is she..." Aya mumbled."Pardon?" Honch questioned."Is she okay...?" Aya questioned.Honch stared at her for a moment with a puzzled look on his face."Aya, Tessa is dea-""Not her, the baby!" She snapped angrily."Is her baby okay or not?!" Aya cried out as tears streamed down her face.Honch's eyes widened. He opened his mouth as if to say something but quickly shut it."A-Aya, please calm down..." Alastair whispered, placing a hand on her shoulder."Not until he answers the question!" She shrieked."It's fine..." Honch mumbled."W-what is...?" Alastair whispered."That thing, it came out just fine..." He said, keeping his gaze focused on the floor."That thing?!" Aya roared, shoving Alastair aside as she angrily raced toward
*“Are you really serious about starting up your own business?” Aya questioned.“Why not?” Alastair replied.“It’s just,” Aya paused.“Don’t take this the wrong way; you’re just not all that great when it comes to people.” She frowned.“I’ll manage,” Alastair said, closing his eyes as he leaned back in his desk chair.“Did you pick a name for your business yet?” Aya asked.“Spirit Force,” Alastair said, turning to her with a grin.*“Alastair!” a voice cried out.“Hey, Alastair!”Alastair’s eyes widened as he was suddenly snapped back into reality.“We need to hurry; those two bozos ran in to get back up while your head was stuck in the clouds!” Aya shouted.“R-right…” Alastair mumbled.“Al?!” Aya cried out.“Everyone,” Alastair began, lifting his head.“Either turn back while you still have the opportunity, or…” He paused.“Fight like hell.” He said as he pulled out his lighter.“Is now really the time to have a smoke?” Aya frowned.“They’ll be here any minute….” She mumbled.“Relax,
