Derrick's POV
I laid Elsa in her bed and kissed her forehead. I turned around and went back into the living room. I sat down and sighed. I was actually truly relaxed.
"She's your mate." Gabe said suddenly.
Gabe has the mate sense; he can tell you who your mate is by touching them and he can also see if they accept you as their mate. Earlier when Elsa was reaching for the remote, she brushed his arm; I noticed it. When I heard him gasp I knew she was someone in this room's mate.
"She is?" I asked happily. "That's great." I added, getting happier by the second.
"Yeah man, it's amazing. We're happy for you." Jacob said "Even if I don't like her." He added quietly.
"Shut up, you love her." Tyrell teased Jacob.
"Yeah, I do." He laughed.
My inner wolf and I growled because someone was talking about our mate.
