Chapter 40

“Sorry.” I told him before I put my foot on it’s chest and both my hands around it’s head, then I broke his neck and pulled his…head off.

“Derrick, I’m never killing a vampire again.” I said, throwing the head.

He nodded and gave me a wolfy grin. I smiled back before we both started running and killing more people. Derrick didn’t make me kill any more vampires though, which I was grateful for.

I stopped running to breathe. I saw a jet black wolf jump up in the air and pounce on someone.

“Show off.” I muttered.

I turned and saw Derrick’s wolf running into the house. To change I assume.

I heard bone popping and it sent chills down my back. It caused the hairs on the back of my neck to stand up. It was just weird and freaky.

Derrick came running back out with basketball
