Chapter 106

The drive to the Goldberg Manor was a silent affair with neither Louisa nor Ethan bothering to communicate as one looked out the window while the other focused on driving.

Ethan frowned. “Are you sure?... There's still some way before your mansion.”

“I know, but I can't risk you coming home with me. It could cause problems for both of us.” Louisa admitted honestly, earning a glance from Ethan.

“Are you sure it's not just going to cause problems for you?” Ethan inquired with a raised brow.

Letting out a sigh, Ethan shrugged. “Alright then. You can go on, I'll keep watch from a distance.”
