“I'll tell you straightforward, Mr. Jones, I'd like you to get out of my store,” Lucas remarked without mincing words, his words laced with contempt.

Ethan raised a brow. “I've never seen a business owner that didn't want money.”

“And what money could someone like you possibly have?” Selena inquired in derision.

“What's it to you?”

“I just don't want Innocents to end up getting scammed by you.”

“Quite generous,” Ethan remarked. “But perhaps you should focus on completing your shopping.”
