That night, I dreamed about Pluto. It seemed like a silly thing to dream about, a city that I'd never set foot in, but I found myself watching the streets fly by below me. I was taking a monorail that crisscrossed above the city, watching for... Something.

In the dream, I was here for a reason. There was something in this city that I needed. Something that would help me kill. Dream me marveled as the city passed, wishing he should have seen Los Vegas or Maca even once so he had something to compare it to. My dream self had been all over Artemis, but this was his first time in the City of Pleasure. Holo billboards of naked women advertising various prostitution companies mixed seamlessly with the glistering skyscrapers.

Other cities, like Neptune and Xijing for instance, took architecture from the past and used that as a model. Pluto took the opposite direction, going for a city that looked like something people in the 1950s thought a future city would look like.
