The journey in the outer world continued in a smooth way as the orc resumed leading them through the lands, this time with the magnitude of calmness put in by the orc, they felt safe following its landings for the first time. Their instincts were totally okay with the directions which it was taking them through. The orc was following instructions given to it concerning stopping and moving as it knew that their speed would not be the same since Zach wounds was still healing and he need not to be in any form of pressure. The night was quite long unlike the previous ones, but they could not question nature, as it was a certain thing that the sun would surely rise even if it wanted to take extra hours to do so. Looking around as he was told, he still did not notice anything strange because he had looked around before now when he was looking for the orc. Zach was not happy to hear the word ‘sit’ but he was left with no other choice. It took some minutes before gradually lowered himself to the ground. He did not give Eric any audible response to the request he had made, but his action of sitting down was enough to tell that he agrees to the request of sitting and making a plan. It took almost over five hours before the detective in charge of interrogating the suspect came out to meet Eric Claus and Chase Stevens in the police station. “Just before you woke up,” Chase began, “He told Lauren and I that he would be removing you from life support because his test showed that you would never wake up again. But upon coming to see you in the ward, we found you awake, that is to say he has found out that you would be waking up any time soon so he wanted to prevent it from happening. The doctor ran another test on Eric Claus early the next morning to confirm whether he was fully fit to leave the hospital and still his results were positive that he did not see any other reason to keep Eric there in the hospital. The monitor attached to Eric Claus began to beep loudly, alerting the nurses and medical personnel nearby to hurriedly come check on him and find out what was the cause of the sudden beeping of the monitor. The first nurse that ran in noticed his temperature was burning beyond normal and it was something beyond her skills so she rushed out to call the doctor in charge of his treatment while another nurse that followed after her tried to stabilize the situation pending the doctor’s arrival. In a few minutes the doctor came in to check on him and saw that it was more than a normal burning for someone in his condition, and something he hasn’t seen before throughout his entire career, but that was not going to prevent from running some quick test on him.
