At dusk on that same day, Prince Reece Cole who was with a division of soldiers still in the city of Raychester began to hear some noises coming from underneath the ground where they stood was shocked even though he knew of the tunnel in the city, but he was surprised because he wasn’t expecting anyone to know about the same tunnel, especially since the people in Warcton fortress had all moved to the Hillcrest as planned. So his mind went to think that the enemy had come to know about the tunnel and then had passed through it to come into the city of Raychester. It took the soldiers two days to march from Raychester to New griffin, and as they came before the city, they blew the horn of war so as to draw the enemies out of the city of New griffin, it was a wise decision which Eric gave by not allowing them to march into the city.At the sound of the war horn, the orcs even though they were quite ready for the human soldiers, they weren’t expecting it too soon as it had played out. Just as the orcs had predicted, the battle was already lost even before it began. Zagthak after leaving his men in the war front to perish, he took a turn around the country and came to Riverston where the ogres had camped. The ogres came to the city of Riverston to drive out its inhabitants just as the orcs had done in Oldgriffin and Newgriffin, but the humans were already gone by the time they arrived so they knew the humans were up to something to have abandoned their lands like that.Zagthak had planned with the ogre leader to take out the city of Riverston while they took out Ironbrook and the two griffin cities as they did. Coming into the city of Riverston to see that the ogres had dominated the place, Zagthak thought they were successful in the overtaking of the city. On the side of the ogre leader, he knew something was wrong when the city was abandoned so seeing Zagthak come into the city alone without any escort, he could confirm what he had suspected when he came into the city. Though Zagthak had acted tough and unaffected when Hillslayer announced his forfeiting from the fight, he began down immediately the ogres were gone out of sight. Everything in him felt weak, and he was a bit confused on what to do next in order to win the fight as he still meditated on what Hillslayer said before leaving. It took a while before he could regain his full self. Spending so long alone in the city of Riverston, he later got up at dusk, prepared himself and moved to the city of Northby where he would meet his other allies. The journey to Northby was quite slow since he moved alone, but he still got there anyways. The city was void of humans as expected, still he couldn’t predict that what Hillslayer told him about Riverston had also happened there in Northby. Zagthak made some awful noise which was a sound he used in announcing his presence to that set of allies. After the victory in the city of Newgriffin and Oldgriffin, though, the soldiers were still very agile to march to another city and retake it. They were ready to continue into another battle without resting, but King Luca was not going to allow that to happen. He ordered that they take some moments to rest so as to avoid fainting in the field when they go up against their enemies. While they observed the little rest as they also prepared to march out again at dawn to reclaim another city which their enemy had dominated, King Luca had to bring up the unfinished conversation which he was having with Eric before it was changed. “Eric, you still did not tell me why you seem unhappy after the fight.” “Of course I was happy.” Eric still chose to keep what was going through his mind to himself. “Come on Eric, I know it when you are hiding something and this is one of those times. Talk to me.” Luca kept persuading him. The moment Eric was about to open up to the King, Zach walked in.

Next Eric was sitting with Harris alone even as the soldiers got ready to march for the next city that would be retaken from the orcs.
