A few days passed after Harris talked with his father. Eric Claus could see himself walking in a plain white background. There was nothing in the place he found himself as he could see as far as his eyes and nothing was there. While he fed himself with these discouraging words, he saw a young soldier climbing the back of one of the trolls as his used arrows which were still on its back as steps till he got to its shoulder.Right on top of its shoulder, the troll wanted to drag him down but the soldier was smart enough to cut off its finger, causing the troll to cry in pain as blood was drawn from its body. It took almost over five hours before the detective in charge of interrogating the suspect came out to meet Eric Claus and Chase Stevens in the police station. The doctor ran another test on Eric Claus early the next morning to confirm whether he was fully fit to leave the hospital and still his results were positive that he did not see any other reason to keep Eric there in the hospital. The monitor attached to Eric Claus began to beep loudly, alerting the nurses and medical personnel nearby to hurriedly come check on him and find out what was the cause of the sudden beeping of the monitor. The first nurse that ran in noticed his temperature was burning beyond normal and it was something beyond her skills so she rushed out to call the doctor in charge of his treatment while another nurse that followed after her tried to stabilize the situation pending the doctor’s arrival. In a few minutes the doctor came in to check on him and saw that it was more than a normal burning for someone in his condition, and something he hasn’t seen before throughout his entire career, but that was not going to prevent from running some quick test on him.
