They were approaching the gate of Raychester when they received words from three riders who met them on the way at twilight. When King Luca had asked them what their mission was, one of them said they were coming to get aid for the city of Riverston which was under attack. Then the King looked at the men which he was returning with and those eyes could tell that he was going to need some of them to go with the riders. Just as they were about to remove everything that was connected to his body, they could hear the monitor beeping, and all eyes turned to see that it had begun to read again, detecting life in his body. Instantly they looked at Eric and could see his eyes open, as he stared at them.So the doctor looked at time again, it was eleven forty, so he immediately, along with the nurses with him resumed the administration of treatment to him, as they fixed back the drip in him and other necessities.Even after this, the doctor confirmed that he is still in a coma but there was quite an improvement that his chances of survival had risen from fifteen percent which it recently dropped to, and was now at a thirty five percent rate. It took almost over five hours before the detective in charge of interrogating the suspect came out to meet Eric Claus and Chase Stevens in the police station. “Just before you woke up,” Chase began, “He told Lauren and I that he would be removing you from life support because his test showed that you would never wake up again. But upon coming to see you in the ward, we found you awake, that is to say he has found out that you would be waking up any time soon so he wanted to prevent it from happening. When I asked him how it was possible that someone who he presumed to never wake up again was awake and sound, he said he didn’t know and would do some research that would explain it scientifically. The doctor ran another test on Eric Claus early the next morning to confirm whether he was fully fit to leave the hospital and still his results were positive that he did not see any other reason to keep Eric there in the hospital. The monitor attached to Eric Claus began to beep loudly, alerting the nurses and medical personnel nearby to hurriedly come check on him and find out what was the cause of the sudden beeping of the monitor. The first nurse that ran in noticed his temperature was burning beyond normal and it was something beyond her skills so she rushed out to call the doctor in charge of his treatment while another nurse that followed after her tried to stabilize the situation pending the doctor’s arrival. In a few minutes the doctor came in to check on him and saw that it was more than a normal burning for someone in his condition, and something he hasn’t seen before throughout his entire career, but that was not going to prevent from running some quick test on him. The tests were all reporting strange feedback as they stabilized him with an injection to stop the burning.
