3. Mission Completed: The First Skill and A Lot Of Money

This is strange.

A system suddenly appeared in front of his face along with pieces of memory of who the woman in front of him was. After realizing Bella is his wife-and now in a hotel room with another man, Edward's heart aches.

Edward approaches Bella and Savador who are still frozen in their places. He moves slowly. As Edward approached, Bella spread one arm in front of Savador's body. Protecting the man.

"Don't come any closer, Edward," Bella said in a threatening tone, despite the fear in her eyes.

Edward ignored her completely. His eyes remained wide, looking angrily at Bella and Savador.

Edward was actually confused as to why the hologram screen in front of his face was displaying a mission. But because his anger had taken over his heart, Edward immediately clenched both hands.

"You really are an asshole!" Edward said with both emphasis and a groan.

In just a short time, Edward lunged at Savador. His hand reached out and gripped the collar of the kimono towel so tightly that Savador spontaneously took a few steps back. Edward immediately threw the first punch using his other clenched hand.

"Edward!" Bella squealed in panic.

Again, Edward didn't care. After the first fist hit the jaw of Savador's face, the second fist was delivered.

DUGH!

BUGH!

BRAK!

Savador's limp body was instantly flung several meters until it crashed into the nightstand. Savador falters for a split second as a number of items on the nightstand fall off.

"Honey!" called Bella in a panicked tone as she stepped closer to Savador. "Oh my, are you hurt badly?"

Savador coded herself okay to Bella. Silently, she straightened up and turned to Edward.

"If you're just going to cause a scene, get out of my room!" Savador snapped at Edward while pointing towards the door.

Edward did not care anymore. His jaw remained hardened in anger and moved quickly closer to Savador. This time Bella tried to block Edward's movement before Edward quickly pushed her away.

"Edward, the person you should be aiming for is me!" said Bella persuading Edward who was already near Savador.

Savador immediately blocked Edward's hand that wanted to give him a fist. Both of them expended energy to hold and push.

Edward strengthened his strength to find an opening to hit Savador. On the other hand, Edward, who was already annoyed, finally stomped on Savador's hands. In that instant, another punch was delivered to Savador's face.

BUGH!

BUGH!

And other fist punches to his stomach.

Edward paused for a moment to watch Savador through a piercing gaze. His hands remained angrily clenched. His hardened jaw had not eased at all.

"If you get violent, I can report you..." Savador pointed at Edward with his almost battered face.

"I don't care. Who are you? Why are you with my wife?" asked Edward through his high-pitched tone.

Bella immediately approached Edward and pushed his body away. However, Bella's strength was not stronger so she only jerked Edward's shoulder.

"Don't be rude to her," Bella sternly reprimanded Edward while pointing at his face. "Why did you come all of a sudden? You should be ashamed of yourself for attacking a man like Savador."

Hearing Bella's words instantly provoked Edward's anger.

"I should have asked you, why are you here with him?" asked Edward.

"I seem to have forgotten to tell you, Edward. I love Savador, and he is much better than you." Bella said with firmness.

Before Edward could reply, Savador interrupted.

"Honey, you haven't told me about her," Savador said, looking both confused and curious.

Edward immediately turned his gaze to Savador. With disappointment in his eyes, Edward immediately answered while pointing at Bella.

"She is my wife. Don't you know?"

Savador looked at Bella as if asking for clarification. While Bella was already looking nervous after the situation between them turned tense.

"Yes, he is my husband, but I don't love him, darling. I really don't want a marriage with him," Bella replied in a panicked tone.

"What are you saying? Why talk about jokes, Bella?" asked Edward, who took offense at Bella's words.

"I didn't love you from the start, Edward," Bella said firmly. She didn't think about Edward's feelings at all. "Now look at your situation. You're already poor and your level has fallen so far! How can I live with a lowly courier?"

A lowly courier?

Edward really did not expect that Bella would say such a harsh sentence. After pieces of memories popped up in his brain, Edward remembered how Bella was so gentle to him.

Now Bella showed a rude attitude and said that Edward had fallen level. But unfortunately Edward did not understand the meaning of that sentence at all. What was really going on?

Why is there so little memory in his brain?

"You are no longer the old Edward. And we actually got married for business reasons. Have you forgotten?" Bella quipped once again.

The more Edward tried to remember, the more his head felt dizzy. Meanwhile, the hologram screen in front of his face displayed a new look.

"I don't know why you came with your level so low. But you have to understand, no high level is compatible with a low level," Bella continued to say.

After hearing Bella's words, Edward slowly understood the situation. The pieces of memory made sense. Starting from him waking up on a long bench on the sidewalk, finding a system that suddenly appeared in front of his face, to knowing Bella's betrayal.

"I will marry Savador, Edward, for he is more worthy of my company."

Like a thunderclap, Edward clenched his jaw. His anger overflowed.

In the next instant Edward lunged at Savador. Edward delivered the rest of his fists to Savador's face and stomach with a vengeance. He vented all his anger until the system's holographic screen gave a notification alert.
