Pointing her held fork on the paper, Reina continued. “Those are humans harmed by nature, an influence whose origins we have no idea where it came. If we allow that drastic change to continue, what will become of our world, Patraika? Centuries of development gone to waste in one night? That’s not what we want our future to be.

“Do you think it justified to stop thinking we need to do our best to solve this? Any countermeasure we can create that works are better than letting that thing have its way just because we know it’s letting us. The creature is underestimating us, Patraika, and that’s not a creature you want to waste your pity. We are not doing this for nothing; remember that.” Reina finally said as she fixed her utensils and tapped on her tablet to call over the staff.

Swallowing her doubts, she stopped watching the video. “Where’s the finalized report for this?”
