Betts could imagine her younger brother's eyebrows crossing, elegantly. His eyebrows are perfectly trimmed, from the salon, with the intent of keeping them to perfection every time. She watched in fascination how he could work and be a perfectionist to his appearance, the same way Teyarri does. At least, Teyarri does it for her work, while Quin does it for his vanity.

“Hearing it on the phone makes sense, but—let’s video call then, hah.” Quin quickly instigated the call.

She had to quickly move from her face to the window for better lighting when the camera of her phone opened.
