Keeping her mind afloat while her partner did his best to assuage the onslaught of mental pain brought heights of waving consciousness like a swing, back and forward, mixing the steadiness of the world and grogginess. Her mind wasn’t just experiencing a ringing that could stun an adult, but the pain that gripped one side of her head is equivalent to the vice of a metal claw trap chewing onto the flesh of its victim.

She could feel the sinews of her sanity become jarring, point blank warped into a circular motion of blended fever dreaming and her capacity to remain sane while keeping her mind from slowly losing. How much of this is affecting her? She is sure it has rendered half of her body useless like a man experiencing a stroke. Not half of her body is going to gain recovery if she didn’t succeed in fighting off the side effects of this unusual mental enemy.
