Summoning Wizard

Chapter 5: ELEMENT

After Harry kept the snake's body. He searched around for items that could be used for summoning.

"This is the item we are looking for." Shanks said. In his hand he was currently holding a small crystal that was golden in color and looked to be shining.

Harry slowly picked up the crystal and was shocked when he saw it. "It's quite a good item. The gold crystal in the previous game The World Online was a pretty good item for character summoning. To think I would find an item from The World Online in the Thamrin continent."

Harry spoke again to Shank, "This is all because of your help, thank you Shank."

"It is my duty to help you.

Harry just smiled, he was lucky to have Shank who was loyal. "Let's get out of this cave and head back to the village. I think if we don't return for a long time the people in the village will be worried."

Shank then disappeared again. Not forgetting Harry kept the gold crystal in his inventory and walked out of the cave.

When he saw that the sky outside was almost dark, Harry then rushed out of the forest and back to the village. After arriving at the village Harry went straight home and did not tell about today's incident.

The day has passed very quickly. Until the day when Harry and the other three friends did the element compatibility test has arrived.

"Listen Harry, while there you have to follow the wizards' directions properly." said Harry's father, Juan. Give advice to Harry.

During the element compatibility test, the participants will go alone to be escorted there by the wizarding committee that has been prepared from the academy, therefore Juan has to remind Harry to be kind.

"Don't forget to eat your lunch when you're hungry." she said.

"Thank you mom." said Harry to his parents.

"To all participants please get ready soon, because we will be leaving soon."

Someone wearing a fighter suit shouted telling the participants to get ready. Usually magicians don't come personally to pick up participants but pay adventurers to help them pick up participants.

After saying goodbye to his parents, Harry immediately walked to the waiting carriage. Likewise other friends from this village also got into the horse-drawn carriage. The horse-drawn carriage started walking from the village to another village. This horse-drawn carriage will first pick up other participants from several villages after which it will head to the city.

On the train there were not only 10 year old children. There was also a man who was about 35 years old and wearing a warrior suit, at his waist was also a sword.

After passing through more or less 5 villages, the horse-drawn carriage finally moved towards the city. Harry watched from the stagecoach in awe, a huge wall standing strong protecting the city. Harry was confident that with these walls, the city could be defended even if the enemy's numbers were twice the number of the city's defending troops.

These horse-drawn carriages enter the city without paying an entry fee. Of course there was no need to pay, after all this carriage had the crest of the magic academy so no one dared to stop the carriage from moving.

The town was a lot busier than the village, Harry could see all kinds of open buildings around the town's streets. Even though it wasn't as busy as in Harry's earthly city, but in this city it was far more crowded than in his village.

The horse carriage then stopped at a large building in town. The man in combat clothes got out of the horse carriage and ordered the participants to get off.

"You can get out of the carriage and enter the door slowly. I will only take you up here, you will enter the building yourself and start your test. When it's finished you will return to this carriage then I will take you back home."

Hearing the fighting man's words, Harry and the other participants started to get out of the carriage one by one and walked into the designated building.

After everyone entered, suddenly beside the previous fighting man came out a person who was the carriage's courier.

"Do you think anyone will be a wizard this time?" the coachman asked the fighting man.

Hearing the horse messenger's words, the fighting man couldn't help but smile bitterly, “We've been doing this job for ten years and so far only one person has been accepted. You think these children are compatible with the elements? Even from this city it's been more than five years and haven't been able to bring out a child who has compatibility with the elements anymore."

The carriage driver nodded with a sigh, “You're right, even a noble's child who was accepted seven years ago from this city only has one element compatibility and is considered quite talented. But I heard that if you manage to become a magician even a novice magician , then many noble families and even royal families will recruit you with a heavy reward."

"What's clear is that won't happen to us, how about we have lunch first while waiting for them." said the fighting man.

The two men left their stagecoach and looked for lunch.

Harry entered the building, after entering there were several seats to wait then there was only a door guarded by someone wearing a white robe.

After everyone entered the room, the white robed person immediately spoke, "You all line up in an orderly manner, after that you will enter one by one. You may only enter through this door after the person who previously entered has left. If you understand, start lining up." ."

"Listen, there will be someone there who will test you, so just follow what he says. If you don't match any element, don't be sad and get out of the room immediately so it doesn't disturb the next participant who will enter."

All other participants who were in this room including Harry immediately lined up neatly in front of the door. A boy who stood at the very front started to enter the room.

After waiting for about five minutes, the boy who entered the room earlier came out crying, apparently he couldn't become a magician. After all, almost all children are interested in becoming wizards. Everyone is clearly interested in having a lot of power and money.

Seeing the crying boy, the man in the white robe immediately frowned and scolded him.

"I told you before, if you don't get selected then stop crying and come out. Don't disturb the other participants."

Seeing the angry white-robed witch, the boy was frightened and immediately ran out of this building without stopping to cry. Seeing that Harry felt sorry for the people who weren't selected, but there was nothing Harry could do.

Then the person in the second row started to enter the door as well. Harry saw his position lined up and could only let out a heavy sigh.

"It seems I still have to wait a very long time for my test."
