Chapter 8: Departure!

The three witches glanced at each other. No one dared to interrupt their conversation. They were magicians after all while the rest were just ordinary villagers. The residents could only be silent watching the three wizards fight over Harry to recruit him.

Seeing that the other two witches were still silent, the white robe witch immediately said, "Then I'll tell the head of the Magical Plant Academy not to send someone to recruit this kid. Then, I'll go first."

After that the white robe wizard started flying away, Drex also looked at Harry and said something to him.

"Sometime in the future, drop by the Bright Light Academy, we definitely won't let you down."

Then the old man flew away, remaining the witch smiling at him. Before leaving he did not forget to say goodbye first.

Apart from being a teacher of the Fighting Fire Academy, the female witch also acts as an observer by the magic academy so that the magicians who are testing don't cheat and try to recruit students first before the students get to the magic academy's territory.

After all the magicians left, the entire population was still speechless in disbelief. Even Harry's parents were still surprised not to say anything. Feeling a strange situation, Harry said something to his parents.

"Dad, Mom let's go home first."

"You're right, let's go inside the house." Juan said then started to turn around with Catherine. The three men then walked into their house.

After Harry's family left, the villagers went into an uproar. Their village can also have people who are talented as magicians. Even the magicians of this academy tried to recruit him directly.

Inside Harry's house and also his family, they gathered while telling all the events that he experienced today. Harry's parents also agreed with Harry wanting to go to the magic academy. Even though Harry after coming to the magic academy it would be difficult for him to return home.

Three days have passed so quickly, Finally the day of Harry's departure for the magic academy has arrived. At this time, the white robe Wizard, the white robed old man and the witch were already waiting in front of Harry's village.

Harry's parents then gave Harry a little money to use while at the wizarding academy. But the witch saw it and immediately ordered them to take it back.

"No need to give money, bronze, silver, gold or large gold coins don't apply at the magic academy. The currency there is Magic Crystals. So you don't need to give Harry money because it can't be used there."

Hearing this Harry's parents became worried. If the coins don't apply then Harry doesn't buy food or finance the academy and so on.

The old man in white robes saw the worry Harry's parents felt.

Harry nodded while thinking in his mind. In some of the books he had read, witches were very cruel. They treat others unkindly. They don't really care about the safety of their students either. Almost every year, many students at the academy die while hunting wild animals or doing tasks from the academy.

Even according to the book, there are some students who die because other students are killed for various reasons such as revenge. Witches have their own preoccupations and think that the safety of their students' lives depends on the abilities of the students themselves.

But what he saw at this time, the magicians were very friendly. was it because they were from a good academy because the old man in white robes was a magician from the Bright Light Academy which was more benevolent than the Academy which was towards the elements of darkness. It's also possible that they were being kind because they saw Harry's talent.

Harry didn't think much of it anymore and looked around confused.

"Sir Wizard, how are we going to the Magic academy?"

Harry looked around and there was no vehicle like a stagecoach. Witches might be able to fly but they couldn't fly very far due to their limited mana so they couldn't fly very far.

Harry's village was located very far from the wizarding academy grounds. So, it's impossible for the wizards to fly there let alone Harry can't fly. Because of that Harry was confused in what way they went to the magic academy.

"Just you wait, soon you will find out. If you look up it has arrived."

Harry looked up into the sky, saw a small black shadow that seemed to be slowly approaching here. After the object got closer Harry finally he could find out what the object in the sky was.

The white-robed old man immediately explained.

"It's called a blimp. It is propelled by the power of wind elemental magic crystals and can accommodate thousands of people to fly into the sky. There you will see other people who also have the talent of a magician like yourself. All the people who are talented become magicians among the five kingdoms on the Thamrin continent will gather in the area of the magic academy. Meanwhile, this hot air balloon is a hot air balloon for picking up wizard talents around the Iron Bear kingdom area."

Harry listened to the old man's words and nodded. This blimp is similar to the one on earth called a Zeppelin blimp. The biggest difference in this world was that the flying zeppelins used energy from wind elemental magic crystals.

"Teleportation." said the witch.

Harry's parents and the villagers were shocked again when Harry and the three wizards disappeared.

A bright light blinded Harry's eyes so much that he had to close them. As the light faded Harry opened his eyes slowly and could see that the area around him had changed. Currently Harry and three wizards were in an empty room which was surrounded by an iron wall.

The white-robed old man then spoke something.

"We've arrived in the hot air balloon."
